It's most likely a scam, however it would still be more helpful, if you woud've shown the link of the page you are talking about in the first place.
Perhaps it`s some kind of bank on blockchain. But I`ve never heard about such projects. So, it`s most likely a scam.
I can tell you for sure that a scam is always obvious and shouldn't be thought about too much if anywhere in the advertisement they promise GUARANTEED returns. No one can guarantee you money in crypto.

Whenever I've read the word 'guaranteed' from an investment site, it makes me want to back off. That is the word I saw after my investments was scammed.

Doing nothing is already the key word for a sure scam. This is the favorite taglines of investment hyips out there that usually works on uneducated people.

These are called HYIPS.

140% for 140 days means 1% everyday - this is very low compared to most of these hyips.. this might be feasible or at least sounds more plausible.
Many of these are offering 8% daily or even more.
I found about them by accidentally investing in one.. although i am actually making some alright money lol.
What i hear.. is if you invest early you can make good money.. like i did.
But eventually.. they will shut down and take everyone's money.
Although some people see this as a game of chance.. you invest your money and maybe your lucky and win.
The people that lose from what i have seen.. will be the people who invest last.. and the people who don't realize its a scam and invest everything they have.
I have put some money into a few of these as a test.. and i am willing to lose it.
I know in fact i will probably lose it.. but i wanted to play around with these systems.. so that is the cost.
Have some fun and fool around with them if you want.. but please don't invest money your not willing to lose.

People here are confuse about scam and ponzy shemes.
For me scam is if the webmaster takes the money and go away with.
If people participe at a ponzi sheme,they should know that it is very risky because soon or late it will be impossible to earn for investment.
But if you read:
100% profit in 100 days (for example)then it is scam because impossible for a long time.
I have already programmed a fun-pozi shame for free.
Only the first members have earned...
It was to show that ponzi shemes collapse.
Never I have been accused by my members as a scammer because all was explained.

Why exactly are they going to help you make a hundred 40% not just do it themselves? It's pretty much true for all these types of things. If you're capable of doubling your money overnight then don't try to get other people to give you their money to double just double your money overnight and continue to do that. That's why I am asking first to this forum if it is true or not. Please don't judge me right away. I am just new to this forum and I still have lots to know especially about bitcoin. Keep your BTC and any crypto that you may have in your possession and don't send any to those scammers.
HYIP's,doublers and any kind of "project" that offers you magical profit in a day or two,is most likely (99%) FAKE aka SCAM.
You will find opportunities but you have to be very cautious. Good luck.
