I noticed that... It feels like a waste of time to tag a spammer account with only 1-3 posts. I like to wait until they have at least a dozen or so. You can report them for spamming, but to be honest my reports for spam are hit-and-miss and I don't like to sink my %good reports... Maybe we need opinions from the Spambusters Club, where I believe @Lafu is one of the presiding officers.
Yeah me too, I usually let them go for a week or so, but it was so obvious what is happening after you tagged those accounts and they just started using bunch of new ones. Regarding reporting those spammy posts, I must say that with few exception all my reports are marked as good lately, in let's say 2-3 months so I guess that mods also don't have doubts. I'll report them so let's see what will happen. I have 100% anyway, so can't ruin it much Cheesy

Edit: 5 minutes after I reported approximately  45 PYRK posts, more than half are already deleted.

After you tagged those previously used accounts, service they are hiring just activated bunch of new ones. All of them are newbie accounts made in 2018/2019, with no post history before they started spamming. Maybe it could be possible to just nuke them?

This project has now hired a thread bumping/spamming service, but seeing as how only 3 of those accounts have commented in the thread so far, let's wait for a few more to do likewise before tagging them. I don't want to post there and accidentally bump their thread to the first page of the section.

Due all presented evidence that they indeed hired bumping service, PYRK has the honor to be 35th on the list of ANN threads that are using bumping services .

It is this last one that I find particularly troublesome -- looks like another scam project aimed at shamelessly cashing in on the pandemic.
Yeah that one looked really  suspicious , i had the same thought exactly, that it was just another scam Covid attempt. I checked them out a bit, and if you go on octopus robots website, it seems like they indeed make some kind of robots, and are behind Covir project. Maybe someone could check it a bit more, and possibly find something there.

Although the use of such thread bumping/spamming methods in promotion is not enough to confirm scam, it definitely gives another negative sign.

Especially when the projects they were previously hired by were also scams:

But once again, I sincerely want you to take into account the history of the company and its development well before the current crisis.
If you are experienced and reputable company, why did you hire that "marketing agency" (as they like to call themselves) to fill your ANN thread with all those newbie sock puppet accounts, writing ridicoulous one-liners that won't fool anyone  but will bring you attention, albeit  not the kind you wanted. These kind of services are ready to promote just about anyone that pays, and same accounts that are "working" in your thread and promoting known ponzi schemes like Goldario, among others.
I have no idea how they managed to sell you this, but it doesn't look good, and it's something that is frowned upon here.

Rikafip already researched it and called them out, that guy is an animal.

Not a scam at all.
We just got listed on Altilly Exchange https://www.altilly.com/market/PYRK_BTC
We are a young and vibrant community, why don't join us?

LOL! You mean on the scam exchange from the same owner as the project in question?
BTW, I really wouldn't call a few newbie accounts a vibrant community... Grin

I'll add to this list as they come along:

ubah87
pamyrtyatbeg

Edit - added 5/19:

figtonmedical
YvonJonathon746
punchranchkume
ShakitaTrocchio
crazyclock10

They have also been hired by the following projects:

Cocos
OPP Open Wifi
Goldario
TOZEX
Covir.io

A little bit more about Mike-O  Roll Eyes

He was looking for testers with exchange experience here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/looking-for-an-experienced-tester-3350593

On his profile he has Altilly Exchange link https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/mike-o-2043752

He talks like he really knows Altilly exchange https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.47918740
This reply are made by me. Michael might write it a little differently. You are very welcome to chat directly with him here

QREDIT

There is no MIKE on Altilly or Qredit LinkedIn. MIKE-O is most likely a suckpuppet account from JanEmil who works for Altilly.

Trading will be available on Altilly.com once launch is completed and the mining is stable.

It looks like Altilly exchange is creating shitcoin to create communities and bring them to their exchange, Yobit did this with the ICOs and look what happened.
You must also be aware of Altilly exchange, most likely a scam.

What I have realized from all the discussion here that Pyrk has edited whitepaper after open this thread (If I am not wrong) which is enough worthy to tag them and tagged as well. Perhaps flag type 1 appropriate for this kind of behavior. But they forgot there was Archived version.

Anyway even the declaration from beginning what is your own concept then? If you don't know how to write a unique whitepaper (likely it would take less than $100 even you hire someone from market places)
then how you are going to perform for further development? Isn't something unrealistic? Doesn't matter either you will scam your investors or not but there is not enough reason to invest.

they openly stated in their intro that the whitepaper is a copy/paste  Roll Eyes so u didnt really need to perform all these researchs and pictures

I openly state this in the introduction of the white paper.

If you think it's a scam, then don't mine it and don't buy it.   I'm looking for community members, not community haters.

When things get moving along, i'll probably rewrite a few things, but this IS a fork of Dash, with multi algo stuff taken from DGB.

But anyways, i'm not gonna argue about it as I already openly said that's what I did in the introduction of the whitepaper....

- Mike

Can you even call it a "whitepaper" of your own if all of it's content comes from different projects? I cannot even call it your own project since all the ideas are copied from other projects. You should take note that plagiarism can still be counted even if you "openly stated" it, as long as you don't have the permission of that person/entity you are copying it from you still have committed plagiarism, how? You treated all the other whitepapers' content and treated it as your own which is still stealing.

Oh really! When someone exposes your real purpose, they are haters! How do you expect the community to appreciate you when your foundation is weak? You don't have the ability to write a whitepaper. You are come with the project, think that the community will accept your work! Many like you come to fool people, but get caught everytime. Because now the situation is not the same as before.  Cheesy

You can openly state whatever the hell you want but that still doesn’t give you the right to use someone else’s copyrighted work. And yes, Dash white paper is a copyrighted work owned by Dash Core Group, Inc.

LOL, that’s not the way public opinion works. If you don’t like it, don’t advertise on public forums. Grin

What if someone stole your property and tried to resell it as their own? How would you feel about that?
Yes. It' s a broad generalization, but the principle is the same.

LOL. You just edited the white paper to include the acknowledgement! You didn't notice there was an archived version of the original?
Hm, it looks to me that introduction part where they mention Bitcoin, Dash and Digibyte as sources look the same in both current version of whitepaper and archived one that was saved yesterday. But it  seems that they took some parts from IOTS too, and I don't see that one mentioned in the introduction part.

+1 for changing the white paper to acknowledge the sources
-1 for pretending that's the way it always was

I think this is flag-worthy material but I'll leave that decision up to OP.

Damn, I've joined the discord thinking that could be a good coin, thank you for the info, I didn't checked that, now I'll run away from this project.
Too lazy, nowadays if you want to succeed you need to put effort and create everything on your own.
