I can confirm that. MB disabled my account after i asked them whether they are fine with it.

this is scary. I use MB for a few years now and recently also for btc trade clearing. I have a prepaid master card from them as 'backup' cash out possibility and use the service pretty much whenever possible. I should probably stick to use pizza instead of bitcoin on all reference text fields.

You only have 5 posts and you already offer a new service? I'm sorry but I'm not convinced.

Dear friends,

My name is Jose Ignacio, administrator of aqoin. Let me recommend you http://aqoin.me to securely buy and sell your Bitcoins. In aqoin, sales are instant, you have not to trade directly with anybody. No possible chargebacks, so no possible scam.

You can charge your wallet in Euros through SEPA transfer (UE only) and national transfer (Spain only), and refund Euros from your wallet by the same methods.

More info at FAQ http://aqoin.me/faq.php?lg=en or e-mailing us to [email protected]

Regards.
The aqoin team.

This guy is a scammer as well...

[email protected]

He reversed a transaction on PayPal that we did on bitmarket.eu, just before they stopped allowing users to pay with it. I hadn't realised how easy it was to dispute money with PayPal. Have been using Moneybookers since then, without any trouble, but won't anymore.

My moneybookers account was closed (cannot get a clear explanation from them, they are being cryptic) and all transactions reversed.

I emailed Moneybookers pre-emptively after reading similar cases. They replied with an explicit warning to not use Moneybookers account for Bitcoin purchase (or sale), due to the likelyhood of said account being suspended. Sorry for off topic OP, just wanted to chime in to mention this.

There will be always scammers - one will do it in big - like mybitcoin and mtgox

others will do it in small like this one here.

At the end - we end customers will be f...d up - that's the sad truth Sad

It is ridiculous that almost 50% of bitcoiners are only in it to scam the newcomers, scare them from the currency, and then our market diminishes.

If you had stopped at "... in it to scam the newcomers"  then I wouldn't be chuckling to myself right now.

Either way it isn't at all ridiculous; it's entirely predictable – it's the invisible hand of the free-market at work.

Issues like this are what i'm trying to address in my 'why bitcoin' thread. It's why I'm very hesitant about BTC as viable for the average consumer.

Hey everyone,

This person is indeed a scammer. I am just in the process of cancelling all transactions - looks like the guy was dumb enough to use his real ebay account and IP address to get verified. He's not getting away with it easily.
Have you ever thought about incorporating AlertPay?
