I noticed my NoTroll account haircut on April 9th, 2013, shortly after it took place. I have screenshots that I can provide, if desired, of my account balance when the LTC were first noticed missing as well as final account balance/withdraws. The reason I noticed right away was because I had been mining <1 week, NoTroll was my first pool, and I had made no withdraws from my NoTroll account. I had earned 18.57 LTC at a hair over 3 LTC/day using stratum, but my account balance suddenly dropped to 13.94. According to Niksasa, stratum miners were paid double for 14 hours - a claim for which evidence has yet to be provided. (14/24)*3 (i.e., percentage of daily hours overpaid * daily pay rate) = 1.75. That is approximately how many LTC should have been deducted from my account, not 4.63. 4.63/18.57 = .249 or ~25%, which was apparently applied to accounts across the board. I really don't care about a few LTC, but some people, who trusted this guy by leaving large sums of LTC in their notroll accounts, lost big. I actually continued to mine on NoTroll, dumb, I know, giving Nick the benefit of the doubt and a chance to make things right. It wasn't until I read his rude and ridiculous replies on this forum that I decided to GTFO as quick as possible, which actually took longer than expected due to an empty hot wallet. Nick knows and admits that miners had LTC unfairly taken (stolen) from them, yet he unapologetically takes the position that such is his right as the pool owner, and he has made no effort to provide means of recourse to those affected. I think a scammer tag is, at the very least, owed by us to his future potential miners.

While I don't use this pool at all, I do support a scammer tag for Nicksasa.  Simply reading through his replys here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/notrollin-admin-overnight-withdrew-25-of-our-coins-from-our-balances-172667 is enough to see that he did this willingly and with no remorse.

It's the pool that is the victim. And the fact that nobody even bothered to tell me (out of the 2000 users, in 2 days) they were getting paid double ... some of you guys knew this was coming.

And I should cover them ? Are you kidding ?

Have I EVER denied it wasn't a problem caused by me ? No, I haven't.
You're lucky that I'm not a total dick and just disappeared with the pool (that has happend before with ltc pools.).

Yes you should pay back _everyone_ you took money from. Like you said you can't tell who did benefit and who didn't. It was your mistake you should pay for it.
You sir, are living in a dream world.

I also lost about 2 LTC. Actually had no idea what happened, until now, but moved mining activity to another pool when this happened.

It's hard to know how much I lost without knowing my balance before the double payment period which was 14 hours for me as I was on stratum, but best guess is around 5 LTC mark.

I lost about 3 LTC while the site was showing no mining activity, but the backend was accepting shares. I was sleeping at the time, so I saw it kinda late. Had many problems withdrawing, but that finally worked.

I only lost 3 LTC as a result of this, but have been unable to withdraw the 7.24 I have in there since I switched pools. That's only 2 days mining, but they're coins I could really do with having.

I lost 3 LTC from my account, that was 25% of my balance on the pool. I was not mining at the pool for a long time, but had a small balance there, the pool operator punished me while I had done nothing wrong, and did not profit from any of his mistakes.

I'm missing around 2 LTC from my account as a result of this.  That may not sound like much but as a smalltime miner with a single gpu that is about a days worth of mining

I guess I'll be the one to start this thread.

More than 2 weeks ago, Nicksasa, the notroll.in pool operator, introduced a bug on his pool that caused some miners to be double-paid for a short period. Rather than correct the issue by identifying exactly who was double-paid and correcting only the balances that were erroneous, Nicksasa decided to instead simply take a flat ~30% from the overall balance of every single user in his pool, whether they were actually mining during the double-payment period or not.

Obviously, this resulted in quite a few people having ridiculous sums of litecoins essentially stolen from their accounts. There are several people on this board claiming losses into the hundreds of litecoins, when they were either not mining at all during the double-payment period, or only mined a small handful of ltc (one user claimed that he mines 5 ltc/day but Nicksasa took 118 ltc from him, for example). I will link the actual thread below. I have a friend that had just over 10 litecoins taken from her account (weeks worth of mining for her!) when she wasn't mining at all during the double-payment period.

On April 10th, Nicksasa finally responded to users, admitting that he did indeed just take a flat percentage from everyone to cover his own mistake. He said that it was true that some people had more taken from them than was fair. He said that he would be putting up a page on his site so that people could submit claims to be reimbursed:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1797285

All of that was 2 weeks ago. No page has been put up. Nobody (to my knowledge) has been reimbursed. Nicksasa has stopped communicating on this board, although you can check his profile to see that he is still lurking. There are no messages on notroll.in at all about the incident.

Meanwhile, the notroll.in thread continues to fill up with more accusations of shares not being counted, payouts not working, and other shady stuff. It looks like Nicksasa is content to simply let his pool die a slow death while milking it for as much as he can while the people that don't know about this continue to mine there.

Please give this guy a "scammer" tag so at least the people that see his threads will immediately see that he shouldn't be trusted without having to read through 40+ pages of information.
