That is valid. They generally make trap like it's genuine. Once in a while it's difficult to comprehend which projects are acceptable and which are terrible. As of late I experienced that kinda experience as well. They offer me for 100% guaranty profit with colossal reward. Profit was typical yet I didn't join since in what capacity can a project guaranty like this. After couple of days that project scammed individuals whom contributed. So my feeling is don't fall in for an excessive amount of profit, figure out how might you control your greediness and consistently examine appropriately that project where you need to contribute on.
well there are many fraudsters like that who try to scam new traders, the fraudster might think of you as a new trader so that you hope that you can be affected and become a victim, so you should be careful when you want to invest or trade on the spot other exchanges because there are also scam exchanges, they accept deposits but cannot withdraw funds.

2% daily is still big,

It is still suspiscious and I don't think that anyone who offers like this will be legit. Your friend should know that anyone who offers daily interest or even weekly with any amount of percentage should be suspiscious enough to run an investigation and keep herself away from it.

Anything that promise a daily income is already shady as no business that are making money in a daily basis regardless of the amount.
Just like in this current situation we are facing now, most businesses are down and in general our economy is down, so where will they get what they promise.

Exactly my thought. If their exact source of income is still the same crypto that we see every day, despite its growth amidst the world pandemic that has affected a lot of economic activities, it is still not possible to get something as much as that.
investors these days should try to examine critically the type of project to invest in. If you take a careful look at it, I am sure you will find one or more faults in such a project. there are only few of such type of project that are legit and they do not promise something as much as that.

It seems many scammers are now aware that people run away from too good to be real investment plans nowadays, now they are ready to give fair percentages too just like legit projects

It came to my attention today that many Nigerians fall victim to a crypto fund company in Nigeria where thy are promised 2% daily and 14% weekly, according to my source she never knew the offer was scam because the offer was fair enough, she made a big mistake to have invest a whooping thousand and half dollar in the project, to me this sounds like another MMM stuff but the returns are really fair, well there you have it, this is enough to confuse those who thinks fair returns means project is legit, you are damn wrong

I think that offer was still not too good to be true because 2% daily and 14% weekly is really a large percentage to have in an investment. It just that the numerical value is small if you will just hear it but imagine you put together all those percentage in one month, it is about 60% which is really too large and impossible to happen because banks do give annual rate of 10% to 15% I think for the yearly investment rate. If that will be the case, then such offer of 2% per day comes out to be 730% in total for the whole year. That was already beyond possible. It is really in need not to be fooled by small numerical numbers because that was just their way to took advantage of you to think that rate was alreadt fair enough to be true. It was just awful how certain individuals make use of others weaknesses to get rid of them and took advantage of the situation for their own benefit.

Sorry, but 2% per day and 14% per week is fucking up with how much too elegant conditions. Banks offer 10% per year, and there are 14% per week, per week!
More than a year in a bank. And these are not the best conditions?
Scammers will always offer such conditions, because people follow the lead of their greed.
If the benefits offered are too large, isn't that even more suspicious? it helps us learn in advance what we will invest, never invest in something you don't understand.  Don't be greedy, this can make us go for the scammer's orders. It's better to consult with a more trusted expert, don't go along without learning it first.

In this case, you should really understand that the expert is trusted. But how do you do it if you have no experience?
Most likely, it will not be difficult for an expert to deceive you and prove his competence. Therefore, it is best to resort to various independent expert opinions.

This is very true. There are many ponzi schemes going on in Nigeria. But I have discovered many people that fall victims are new investors that want quick money. Average Nigerian is a chancer and they can go far just to get money to sustain life due to poor and shitty standard of living
Not only in Nigeria but many people from various countries have been hit by scams because of the same scheme as that. It might be very difficult for those who are new to crypto and only think of profits without knowing the risks, I've also been exposed to the same thing and finally I realize if it doesn't make sense.

You get the point,

But I don't know why there are still some people who don't understand that this kind of offer is not trusted. As you said, our current situation, where in the world they will get those 2% daily interest and 14% for a week that they promised to their investors.
This is something that investors should realize before they invest.

That is really devastating and this will help scammers to succeed as they know that they could still have a prey even though awareness has been spread in the community. This will simply mean that people aren't still learning until now. I know the situation of how people will take any opportunity that they think could help them out but the problem is that instead, they will think that it could multiply their money, it is only their loss.

Mate, 2% daily and 14% weekly returns are very obvious scams. They are still HYIPs. 2% daily means over 700% in a year.  14% weekly is over 600% in a year. Can you imagine Bill Gates and the other richest in the world to multiply its money like that? If only making money is that easy then world poverty ends in a decade or even less. There is no easy money like that mate.

To be honest, 2% daily is too much offer for any individual, anyone who accepts that is susceptible to scams, WHy ?
even in banking firms, you cannot get that anywhere in the world in a month.

The most recent i have seen lately, is to lure you to click links on your email to earn some hidden xlm or btc. never fall for such.

Honestly when an offer is not really "too good to be true" but just makes sense, hell even tells you that there is a chance to lose money as well and so forth, you start to believe them. Think about it, someone comes up with an investment opportunity and tells you that you will make about 10% a year probably but there is a chance to make more but also a risk of losing money as well, that sounds quite reasonable to you doesn't it?

And explains to you that this investment is for a raw material production, there is this X material in every Y material and they will use this money to buy the necessary equipment and when they are ready to go they will be able to buy those Y items which are cheap and even can be found in garbage, and then use the equipment you helped bought to process the X material out of it and then sell that material and make money.

Now, can you tell me this doesn't sound realistic? But, dude could simply take the money and go, without doing any of this.

Probably some new investors will have trapped in that offer of 2% daily and 14% weekly which looks attractive and profitable but we all know that it's not genuine only scammers offer this kind of schemes to make people fool but crypto community is smart enough these days with better understanding about scams and I hope time to time the more people will be responsible and aware to stop these kind of scams.

Many scammer offers a huge percentage of profit to the money that invested of the investors but in reality that is their way of scam and that is actually old technique and many people did not believe on that anymore.

Sometimes the newbie are the one who are victim by that offer because of the huge profit the promise they invest more money in reality too there is no big profit you get into a short period of time .

So for the newbie once they offer like that don't accept it and ignore or block it what ever social media they use or don't entertain.

according to my source she never knew the offer was scam because the offer was fair enough
That's her first mistake. Judge a scam with 'this deal was too good so it is a scam, right?' Don't do it cause the scammers playing around the victim and know exactly what kind of bait they need to lure in, either by pure greed or a well-laid trap hiding behind 'a normal-looking' stuff.

That word explains to us that even if the offer seems fair enough, it doesn't guarantee if the project will not scam because we don't know the truth. We only need to use something that we can afford, so if the project is a scam, we don't lose too much. I am afraid that right now, the scammers will search for the other way to trick people, especially new people because the new people will be an excellent target to get their money. But the old way will still be used by them as many new people don't know that trick, so be careful.

I think that one of the biggest problems with crypto mass adoption is a lot of scam projects. When someone asks me about crypto, I always warn him/her about scammers and that he/she should trust no one.
For example, there was a mixer project that seemed legit. Everything worked great and the mixer was doing what it's supposed to. Then one day a user wanted ti mix a considerable amount of BTC but the mixing job never went trough. After few days it was obvious that the project was a scam and everything worked fine until a scammer received a lot of BTC.

That's how good scammers are, they make things looks normal and not an scammy type's of offers but behind that the hidden intentions are lying in,
You can't blamed someone until things revealed itself. The only thing you can do is to keep away yourself with something that really amazing to
see offers like this needs better assessment and not to jump right away.
You're right, even a project that seems legit cant be trusted nowadays because you cant be so sure if this is real. Thats why we have to look for important factors to determine if the project is not a scam hence better not to trust easily regardless how fair the offer if you invest. Its not a basis to say if you invest in a project that will give you profit as promise by them.
