Quick question... if instead of "mining" we are "printing", then instead of "blocks", aren't we printing "palettes" of BEK? Kind of like this:

Interesting concept. Not gonna waste time mining it at this point, Ill get more coin later anyways Tongue

if i get all the points well , it do not make difference if u mine it now or later , later can be more miners but rewards will be higher and diff too .

hard for me to understand ,
SO how diff is calculated here .
The more miners the more rewards , so it will not matter when to mine it since reward will be the same in proportion to miner number or what ?

So , you see, Ben is genius!

My printer seems to be broken or I've run out of ink as I'm no longer printing BEK.

How do I check the cartridge? Should I call a serviceman? Will any printer repairman be able to fix it? Can I use generic cartridges or ink refills?

EDIT: Looks like my printer came back online. Guess I'm just impatient. Thought I might have a paperjam in there or something.

WOOHOO~! I just downloaded it, created my first printing address:

BbC1scY3M8v57WwcoU9NWcDYsSs226c4QQ

And have started printing BEKs! I expect some to roll off the presses very soon! Very exciting! Now I know what it feels like to be a central banker!

Can I use cgminer to print bernankoins?
No, the wallet is enough to print (same as primecoin).

However we are working hard with EPSON, HP and Lexmark to bring out the first ASIPs.

So could we try to get mining with jhPrimeMiner?

My gut tells me "no", and that I'd have to rename the file to "jhPrimePrinter", but that is should all be good after that. Right?

The more printers, the higher the difficulty, the higher the reward? Correct?

So we will always be printing the same amount of coins so long as our hash rate stays the same?
Correct.

I haven't been able to tweak it to be so smooth due to the weirdness of Primecoin's difficulty system; we're at diff 7.x and only diff 8.x will trigger the next round of Quantitative Easing.

Difficulty is at 7.85688126 right now, so just a few more printers and we'll be at QE3!

QE4ever, here we come!

Wouldn't these coins actually gain some value over time for the common folk?  Much like the USD, as the difficulty increases the wealth production concentrates more  towards the elite (big rig miners) and the average guy with the average miner like myself will stop finding blocks.  Eventually we'll start protesting that 99% of the wealth is concentrated with 1% of the holders (the big rigs).

p.s. much like the lottery, the fat cats will let us mine away pointlessly in search of our big break, keeping us down and the difficulty up, knowing it is a waste of our cpu resources that could be put to use mining quark.

is there already something like a traderate BEK/USD or something like that ?

The coin isn't designed to be valuable. I can't stop you, but you will get burned by the Quantitative Easing.

Watch this haha! those that "print" win!

Oh, I own that exact model. Image quality is brilliant but color support is a bit bad.
