Users of trust wallet should take a very serious heed over the use of trust wallet because scammers are doing much to attack users considering that they know it's a wallet most common to newbies and it's support for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies use, if a user is sensitive enough, they should be at alert on the level of information received by them claiming from trust wallet and never to trust such because of the contents of the request they are placing, such couldn't have been asked if it were the real trust wallet, there are all manners of links and physhing related attack through this which scammers are using.

Your keys, your responsibility
Another thing got me curious, how did they get your email address ? From the little time I have operated trust wallet you don’t really require an email to sign up there since it’s a non-custodial wallet so how did they send you an email?
Obviously it's a random email sent.
But Trust Wallet has a seed phrase recovery backup method via GoogleDrive, and it requires you to link a Gmail account on a local device. If brandnew users remember they have done this, they'll assume such an email is official.

Be careful how you click links of such nature in your mailbox so as to avoid hearing stories that touches the heart.
I tend to agree and that's indeed right, especially a message that comes from your spam box.
I usually ignored that message sent to my mailbox and avoided clicking it, it's an old trick by scammers that until now still people get fooled.

By the way thanks for this warning.
I think IMO you need to double-secure your email account now or change any important accounts associated with that email account.
It's likely a compromised account for me when we received a suspicious message.

I barely click anything that goes to my email anymore. If I can verify the email address that it's sent from, I may open it, but unless I am expecting an email, I usually just let them be.

It's crazy how many people would still be fooled by the type of email you are posting about though.

You don’t even need to read the entire mail to know that it’s full of shits.

Even a newbie that has stayed at least a week in the crypto space and has been able to read and learn the difference between a custodial and non-custodial wallet should be able to know that this is a phishing mail.

Same question I am asking myself till this moment. Trust wallet need not my email for me to open a wallet neither do they need any documents or details for me to use. Now I begin to think that possibly details have been traded else where because I barely fill my mail any where  only  for exchanges and casino and of lately, I have been receiving series of junk mails which this is also amongst them. Although I do not receive mails of such nature in the past but to my greatest surprise I started receiving series of messages back to back from different languages in their thirties and forties straight every day that it is becoming ridiculous and embarrassing. I am just tired of deleting junk mails every day which is beginning to irritate me.
I wish I could just block them all. It's very frustrating.

It is laughable how these scammers are so shallow minded. They think people are not informed to know what is obtainable in the Crypto industry. Although some newbies still fall for their trap but I think this trick does not have achievable attempt on me.
They target thousands of crypto users and send emails with this phishing link, now even if the success percentage of this email is very low then there is a chance to scam a good amount of crypto currency. Because among these thousands of email recipients, there will be some crypto users who have no idea about such scams, so there is a high possibility that they may fall prey to these scammers. So it is important for everyone to be careful here, otherwise mistakes can be made many times without your knowledge.

You have done well by creating this thread with the warning, those who are inexperienced new crypto users will be warned after reading this thread, it is helpful for them.

Your image is not clear but I can see 'confirm recovery seed phrase' which is written big in that blue area on your device.

It is a phishing attack, but you know and avoid it. Be careful with the sites you are giving your personal information like email and documents.

The hacker got your personal information from somewhere and trying to use it ti scam you.

There are some that will come in form of 'connect wallet. They are all scam.

Some links will contain malware which is the reason we supposed not to click on any link like that.

This mail was sent at the early hours of the day from scammers because I know for sure that trust wallet can not stoop so low to demarket their products in such a demeaning way. If you read through you would discover that there is a link provided by the scammers which I suspected it to be a phishing link to get access to wallet or possibly requesting for key phrase too and I was wondering when trust wallet began to do wallet verification otherwise wallet be suspended.

So far to the best of my knowledge, third party wallets are just service providers and have no right to request for verification purposes otherwise they might be dumped by their users. If any wallet ask you for KYC then it means that they are not serious for business or they are scammers in disguise.

Be careful how you click links of such nature in your mailbox so as to avoid hearing stories that touches the heart.
