btcmank is posting in other threads right now, while completely ignoring the fact that he scammed me for 90 ltc's for 10,000 cnc's last night.

Thanks.

Is there a core UK Trade like Mt in operation that has some weight to it?

Off topic but I recommend Bitstamp.net for anyone in the EU, fast deposits/withdrawals and very fast support. Also is a reputable, legal and registered company.

There aren't really any exchanges that are based in the UK that I would recommend out of the ones I've tried.

Appologise for being off topic but many thanks Cheesy

no resolution.

I would not recommend trading with "newbies" or "jr members".

The pm feature works, so pm sr members and do business with them only.

Learn from my loss.

HOLD THE PHONE!!

Just because someone is a jr or sr member or even a hero member doesn't mean that they're trustworthy, it only means that they made X number of posts.

You should only trade with people who have a very good reputation from previous trades and has been here for a long period.

Before you trade with someone you need to check the age of their account and check their previous posts and look for positive trades.

Use an escrow so that you don't have to send them the money first.

If you are scammed, create a new topic in the "Scam Accusation" board about it, so that the scammer can be marked as a scammer and will not be able to scam again in future

I do not see the scam board. Can a newbie post in it? We need ratings / trust factor next to our usernames.

Did this get resolved?

I am looking to purchase a large amount...but I am from the UK and just unsure of what to use for the trade.

Ideally I would like to day trade but with the low volumes allowed on Mt and the fact it is american not UK based this may prove impossible.

the following users scammed me tonight. I am not using bitcointalk for trading any longer

FoundNemo scammed me for 60 ltc's
limitless scammed me for 42.5 ltc's
and
btcmank scammed me for 90 ltc's

I wouldn't doubt if they are all the same person. Possibly even user penetration. Check their ip range.

I just received your pm, however, why would I need to respond? I already sent the LTC's last night and have been waiting on you to send the CNC's. Why would my reply to a pm be necessary for you to send?

You have my cnc address for the 10,000 cnc's and my wallet works perfectly.

That's quite a lot of scams in one night. Are you sure there isn't some sort of miscommunication?

still have not received a single CNC

I traded with junior members. I am new here so I stayed away from newbies, but thought jr members were trustworthy. I also checked the scam list for the cnc spreadsheet floating around and did not see them on the list.

Those usernames were supporting each other and are most likely the same person using multiple ip's/proxies.

WTF, that was big amount. Next time use escrow or trade only with members with high trade history.
