The guy who started that ScryptCC IRC, "TheCleanGame," for weeks solicited BTC donations to a buy new server for something not related to ScryptCC. Made it the damn channel topic. People donated BTC to him thinking it was something to do with ScryptCC. Not sure I can make it any more clear.

For what it's worth, I never paid a dime to anyone. Why would anyone, without gaining a clear advantage from it? Dumb people are dumb.
