As I'm going to buy a Android phone will there be an option to install shadowGo without external storage on the phone Huh

Sure as long as your phone has enough storage space on it to hold the chain

Really? How much storage space does the SDC block chain need?

Edit: Maybe I should just try it myself and report my findings back here. Yes I will do that.

OMG at the rate this blockchain is downloading, I figure it will take 14-16 hrs. on 4g connection  Cry

Fuck it, I will use up all my data for the month. I cant believe this shit...

Yeah mobile is not for everyone Smiley
I think SDC is not for mobile phone.

Two trolls and very bad ones at that. You are arguing that the blockchain takes long to download and that this issue is isolated to Shadow. Lulz. It's called the Blockchain maybe you should do some research on it. The project is more than a few months old and you're downloading the entire blockchain to your mobile device. Did you want an abracadabra download?

If so, you should wait for the updated mobile applications that have ShadowLite integrated. Shadow is the the ONLY PoS-based coin with a Simplified Payment Verification system. The is no other PoS-based coin that syncs faster than Shadow when using ShadowLite. It shows a serious lack of intelligence on your part, perhaps you should troll the other PoS coins and ask them why they don't have a SPV system in place.

It's ok, don't freak out just because I don't like waiting 16 hrs to download the blockchain on my phone. Who the fuck would?

Maybe I will come back when the lite version is launched and try that one out....oh wait, according to the roadmap it's already out, where can I download it?

Is this OK ?
 # At least qmake's win32-g++-cross profile is missing the -lmingwthrd
    # thread-safety flag. GCC has -mthreads to enable this, but it doesn't
And this extended to 64 bit ?
# Mac: compile for maximum compatibility (10.5, 32-bit)

Thanks
Is what ok?
SDC blockchain is still downloading on my phone...will it run out of space?? I will let you know.

Considering its been out for a month now we all know it fits on most phones but thanks Smiley

Leave nothing but a shadow.

Note: To our knowledge, the only other projects working on zero knowledge implementations are Anoncoin (Zerocoin) and Zerocash. Our protocol is completely different to theirs and features some of the recent academic breakthroughs in zero knowledge cryptographic primitives.

Do you have an idea how's the scalability in your implementation vs Zerocoin? And does it hide transaction amounts as well as addresses?

Our initial implementation will allow about 5 transactions / second, but we do have ideas on how to make it infinitely scalable.
Its definitely something we've thought about, and something we do have a solution to, but we will only be implementing it at a later stage.

We will be sending to stealth addresses, and breaking the link between the input and output.
For now we won't be hiding the amounts, but rather concentrating on the link separation.

This is something we will be building on in the future, but for now we just want full anonymity without too much overhead.

We're trying to do shorter development cycles, so that we have a more stable product.
