I mean even the 5k krillroll has a better structure then the 20 chip 1k guarantee 10 min levels

That goddamn thing was at 8 in the fucking morning today.  I just shoved it all in with QJs and some retard with AA called, thinking that hand wins on Seals.  Bastard sucked out on me and I went back to sleep.

I don't care the structure, no poker tournament should ever start at 8 in the morning.

how about the seven am start for the 1.25 on a Saturday lol? Starting times are ridiculus for sure for the krillas no rhyme or reason . I could have sworn you had ak btw in the 5k krilla. Only a 120 player field though and about 30 of the people that signed up sat out .

Its just a shame that the great tournaments like the sunday 1k are 8 minute levels which is a super turbo especially with the blind structure.

I'd like some actual super turbos, like 2 minute blinds.  That'd give you fuckers something to bitch about.

so play the 5 chip 320 chip starting stack that's right up your alley .

When it gets down to 25 field if there are 75 runners majority of players have 3 big blinds which makes it a shovament. That's great for krillrolls but I want value for my buyin.  Your full of crap with your all day tournaments the Saturday which is the best structured tournament lasts 3 1/2 hours and is super slow. Even the 5k krill is 10 minute levels. There should be a happy medium in any case. I want to have more then 3 big blinds when its down to 25 people .  There aren't that many 20 chip 1k guaratneeds to choose from in any case.  1 hours and 30 minutes to get to 400 800 blinds is ridiculous with a 75 plus player field unless your a donkey shoving luck box player.

@skivrmt - Yes, the bugs I mentioned are specific to Android, except the annoying sit out button that messes with everyone equally.

@micon - The affiliate program, in all its glory, in this case is not sufficient to pick up the slack.

An in-house email marketing program would benefit everyone, including your affiliates, with a minimum investment of time and resources. I'm talking about deploying a re-engagement campaign to your existing database of users that have already submitted an email address. Also, the Seals web site should offer an email newsletter sign-up feature to collect addresses of those that are interested in receiving occasional updates.

There are many poker players that are not on Twitter, but nearly everyone that wants to play online poker has an email address. Affiliates can drive traffic, but email marketing can keep them coming back.

I'd be happy to volunteer my time to help you get this set up. Like you, I want to see Seals continue to grow. Email is the most effective and cost efficient way to do it... by far. Let me know if you want to brainstorm email opportunities via email. Or I'll be in Vegas in March.

I now return this thread to its regularly scheduled programming.  - Mark

We follow quite a non-traditional model.  We understand this may keep us smaller than if we blasted out marketing.  We prefer to grow organically for now

may also be and its a known fact that mavens is not a software that can accommodate a large player base the more players on the more the lag

I agree with donk4u the tournament should be slowed down.Week ago" Sunday 1K"  had 100 players participating.I believe it is record for non freeroll on Seals.
I think that Seals should start moving more to industry standard MTT structure.

It is confusing for me that you Introducing new tournaments and don't address the obvious problem first .I did ask for 20 chip deep MTT at 2 pm EST for reason. It is time when European players want to play and you took down month ago 2 MTT what was there 25 chipper at 1:30 EST and 20 chipper at 1:40 ET and replace it with nothing.
It was wrong to have 2 similar stake MTT in that space and it is wrong to have non there as well.
If you don't have the time required to manage the MTT schedule, let us help you.

1)  I see the huge, gaping hole in the schedule exactly as you describe

2)  allow me to address this issue right now:  I have submitted to ST6 an "Add MTT Order" (AMO) for the following -->  20 Chip Deep 300 GTD at 2pm EST / 11am PST

3)  I have also submitted for addition the first of a few "HHN makeup" MTTs:   20 Chip 200 GTD  8:30pm EST / 5:30pm PST

12 days later 0.
You should run for public office.

Its just a shame that the great tournaments like the sunday 1k are 8 minute levels which is a super turbo especially with the blind structure. I understand putting together a tournament schedule takes time but the sunday 1k is what is wrong with the tournaments. I just didn't bother playing after the sporadic times I played because it is just a bingo shove fest with 25 players left or so. Making it a 3k is much appreciated but with the blinds the way they are  and 8 minute levels there just is no point in playing it  unless I want to shoveathon because of the blinds late.

Again I understand the taking of time to implement a good schedule but there is nothing stopping anyone from changing the structure of the 1k  for instance and  I have been at the tables when other players complained.  8 minute blinds with  along with rapid blinds increases is just a bad combo .

@wwwin - Understood. But for those that did give an email, it's simple to send a one time message asking if they'd like to opt in to receive occasional announcements from Seals. And a opt-in feature on the site would grow that list exponentially. It can easily be done without violating CAN-SPAM. Every other decent poker site already does this.. because it works.

When I'll see it,I'll believe it.
I just think, that I understand smaller stakes better then you do.

1)  no doubt I'm out of touch w/small stakes MTT community

2)  would be an odd choice of subject to lie about, as it will be easy to score this one Smiley

2)  lluboski - you will be happy to note I just submitted a request to ST6 MTT division for a 20 Chip Deeper 300 GTD right at your hand-picked time of 1400 EST.  Look for that in lobby soon.   It's not the fastest process.  For many reasons it's best to go slow.  I love online bitcoin MTT pokers, we see each other all week long on SwC MTTs (although you are more dedicated than me no doubt) and even for as demanding as some of your posts sound I know we share the same goals of making a juicy MTT schedule on SwC.  I got you my man.

3) much work being done to improve server-side software.  Shit always takes longer than you initially think.  Simply know that we are building.

I have played using the Android app exclusively for a year, and after nearly 500 tournaments played, I love it.... despite for a few minor bugs that persist for Android users:

1. Can't copy/paste in chat or in the cashier (deposit address).

2. Can't save hand histories.

3. Can't unclick the sit-out button if it gets tapped by mistake.

4. Can't rebuy in rebuy tournaments except if you bust before rebuy period expires. "Add chips" does nothing.

5. If the screen is off and a tourney starts, it pops up with a notification, but you still have to log off and log back in to get to the table.

6. You can't see your hole cards because they are partially covered by chips in six max (android simple mode) in the middle left and right positions, so you have to keep tapping every hand.

7. There is no AM/PM indicator in tournament times, so sometimes it's hard to tell in advance what time a tourney actually starts. It just says "Thursday 02:03" for example.

None of these are a huge problem... more of a minor inconvenience, and I'll keep playing even if none of these are ever fixed.

Please continue Android support in the future... IMO it's the best way to fire on Seals.

P.S. - Micon, have you ever considered email marketing to drive traffic and engagement? I'm an email marketer by profession and I think Seals is missing the boat by not using the most effective marketing method in existence.  - Mark

Maybe something with the Android app?  Because most of these other issues are perfectly fine on the desktop client.

1 - Can do
2 - Can do
3 - True and annoying
4 - Never played a rebuy tourney on Seals so can't comment
5 - Huh?  Table pops up and you push "ready"
6 - Again, guess an Android simple mode
7 - Its military time!  Don't need AM/PM.  So much easier this way.

1)  Bitcoin blogger freeroll details to be announced later this week.  It will be quite exclusive, so please do not make small new blogs to host an lol pic that I made in 10 minutes to get access to a 500 chip freeroll.   I will be very picky with this one.
