What happened to the PLO8 tourney for today at 3.35pm?  Usually everyday $40 buy in $400 GTD right?

I own that shit. Wink

And yes, HUDs are allowed.  I use one.

If I use a program I made that keep track of all player stats while I play cash and tourneys, like a hud, is that allowed?

Bump, I made one, just curious if I am allowed to use it?

im assuming pokertracker and hold em manager dont support seals with clubs right?

No, I created my own, which tracks basically the same stats.

nice, I dont see why they should have a problem with it, huds are accepted as commonplace in the online poker world

I asked this recently but I am not sure if I posted the reply from Seals.

Krill from tournaments is the square root of entry fee rounded down to the nearest tenth and then multiplied by 2.

They said they are updating their promo page but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Speaking of breath, any idea when the new client is coming?

thanks appreciate it man

You can change the color with "edit account" on the website. You need 500 krill for that (just FYI - with Daring you obviously have that.) There are some special avatars for site pro's and people who won an avatar in previous special tourneys (don't run any more.)

Ah, found it, much appreciated!  Alas, no green as a choice, guess those with green have changed there's for special tourneys and what not.

Ok, way more important question here, forget about the ddos attacks, disconnects, lost pw's etc.  How do I change the color of my club?!  I've seen floundering seals with yellow, daring with red, etc.  I think I'm currently a "Daring Seal", yeah, be afraid, be very afraid.  So what am I missing, where's the I want a cool green club vs a boring blue club button?! From what I have read, if you don't have a verified email address linked to the account, they will not respond to you.

They might, it's worth a shot anyway.  Good luck, hope you get your money.

Thanks man.

Nothing so far, will update if I hear anything back from them. Read so much about it being a great site shame I can't even get to play one hand. I at least deserve an explanation. The account seems to be locked. I log in and then it asks for login details again and says bad login.

There was speculation about other posters who made similar complaints that they were colluding, advertising on seals forums/threads. I have done neither so I would love to hear the explanation for this.

I'd be shocked if an email to [email protected] doesn't lead to a quick account recovery for any legitimate player.   In fact msg me personally if it doesn't

Hi Micon, I have sent them two emails so far one yesterday and one last Saturday explaining the situation with no reply. I also sent you a pm yesterday. Your help would be greatly appreciated. I got my hopes up after your post and was really looking forward to playing today.

Just tried to log in and it's still the same problem.

I was repaid the chips I was owed.  SWC is doing it right still.
Yup. Same.

I was also refunded for being DC-ed during the big BTC. Thanks Seals.

As for MTTs, I suggest a tourney at 6pm and 7 pm w a guarantee, even if its a low one.  Those time slots have been missing a tourney.  I think 18 entrees for the 5pm 100 is too high to consistently maintain.  The 8pm 100 had been doing well before the outage, but if anything, just lower the guarantee rather than deleting it.  People will still play it for 1.2 guarantee and on some days it will get 25+ ppl.  I suggest maybe another $40 or something from 30-100 buy in range at 6pm or 7.  You could also do like a 1 rebuy, 1 add on, or 2 rebuy, 1 add on and do like 3k starting chips, 3k rebuy, 4k add on, or 1500, 2500.  Maybe like a $30 2r/1a w 3k starting, 3k rebuy, and a 4k add on, w $750 guarantee to start.  The format of the Friday deep needs to match the 100 grindabit, as of right now its too turbo oriented.

If Micon or anyone at Seals would like me to lay out a completely overhauled MTT schedule I will gladly do so. I've had alot of people pleading with me on Seals to help change the tournament schedule/structures, and I am more than willing to help. Micon has me on Skype. No excuses. Contact me and let's get this thing fixed!

Quoting since I posted this right before all the downtime happened. Offer still stands.

chazley,  the most helpful thing for me right now with the MTT schedule is to tell me 1 guaranteed tournament you would add.  Tell me a time, buy in, structure, and desired guarantee.

note that I just added (may take a few days for ST6 to process) a 20 chip 420 GTD at 1600 vegas time or 7pm EST.  I know that space was much needed to be filled.  My next MTT I think I will add is 1700 vegas time / 8pm EST.  I am thinking a 30 or 40 or 50 chip MTT leading up to the 100 chip Deep 1.5k flagship nightly.

thoughts?

Micon, my thoughts/opinions are more about the tournament schedule/structures as a whole rather than 1-2 tournaments that need to be added. A 20 chip 420 GTD at 7pm EST is great, and the 8pm ET timeslot, like you said, desperately needs a replacement for the GaB Slow Deep, which unfortunately I was not allowed to replace (although I'd still be willing). Please message me via Skype when you get the chance.
