Anyone having trouble is probably using sealswithclubs.org, that got screwed up somehow. Try "https://sealswithclubs.eu" directly.
That works.

This is what I get:
Code:
Found

The document has moved here.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

unable to connect atm, anyone else ?

Are you still unable to connect? Everything seems fine from here.

still unable, but about to crash for the night.
Will retry from a few other pc's in the house tomorrow (just updated this to latest ubuntu, could be causing some issues).

Yes, give me more details when you can. One possibility that comes to mind is that you got a different version of flash. I know there is a linux flash version that doesn't work.

False alert everyone - The latest ubuntu upgrade forked my chrome+flash installs.
Installing firefox now, thats for the quick response.

edit: the version of flash is: adobe-flashplugin                    11.2.202.228-0natty1

Looks like some old custom repo's causing issues.

The failure to connect during  "connecting to port 8080"?

If so, that used to happen for me in an older version of Chrome.  From Firefox though it worked fine, from the same machine.  Works fine in a current release of Chrome though, so not sure if Chrome fixed it or the Flash app fixed it.

The Sunday 60BTC Guarantee Tourney continues. Last week it only got 21 players so there was a good amount of money added. Only 2BTC to enter, Sunday at 6pm ET.

I'm sorry, there was something wrong with it. Fixed now, and temporarily has 200 added instead of 100.

Anyone know whats going on with the half hourly games? i'm down 100 chips in failed games.... plus what i could have won

Failed games? What do you mean?

edit: Ah, it looks like it didn't run a few times. Were you the only one registered? It needs two to run. When that happens you don't lose your money, you either get to play the next one or you can take your 50 back by unregistering.

Id like to address a issue in the security of the sealswithclubs.eu site that I came across on another forum. It appears that the site owners can see users passwords in cleartext. Here is a link to the security problem.

http://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/showthread.php?668-Seals-and-its-admins-can-likely-see-your-password

Could the owners please address this? This is not cool if true.

This is important so I'll be thorough, but the most important part is: Seals never stores clear text passwords anywhere.

If you download the trial version of Mavens to check it out you may rightly be worried because there is a Mavens' data field for 'password' and if a user makes an account in the Mavens software their password will indeed show in clear text in that field.

That is not acceptable so users never create Mavens accounts at Seals. They create Seals accounts which triggers the creation of a Mavens account with the data we provide which never includes a password.

This is why you cannot log in directly to your Mavens account at Seals like you can at some Mavens sites. You must log in to your Seals account on the web and click the "Play Now" button which generates a one time login key for access to your Mavens account.

Your Seals password (your only password at Seals) is always salted and hashed.
