the state is fast enough to employ an inspector and pay him a good wage of maybe 20,000 meals ($25k)

but would easily say no to donating that same $25k to a foodbank/ soup kitchen / hostel

this fact evidently shows that government is just afraid of it
Afraid of some tents and tables? They might not like it, but any harassment they face is bound to be because of the fact that it's a homeless reservation, not because of Bitcoin.

That sucks, just goes to show you they only want people helping others if it's using the dollar >_<

If I had to guess, I'd say that there is a 99.99999999% chance that the city is doing this because they don't want the homeless moving in, and has nothing to do with the bit/alt coins hes collecting through donations.

My initial thoughts exactly!

Pensacola, the city which Sean's Outpost is in, as well as the county, are taking seemingly unfounded legal action against them.

"As of now a health inspector and code enforcer are being paid every week to inspect the property and no violations have been reported; in fact in the latest report it was written that the property has remained clean and orderly and is not in violation of any laws."
