ERC-20 tokens work quite well in MyEtherWallet but you need to be very careful with accessing and never follow links.
Nano is also a good option if you want something you can carry around with you and for other tokens

Hello, First, buy yourself a separate computer, where there will only be purses. Install antivirus program on the computer. I would advise you to diversify the risks and store altcoins in different wallets. Keep part of the coins on the official purse that you install on the computer, part on the on-line purse. I still keep some of the altcoins on the exchange.

A good place would be MEW or Blockchain. Safe and easy to use at any moment.
Easy to create an account too.

If you have concerns as to security, you should either use portable trezor/ledger nano wallets or paper wallet. but if you ask me the safest way is the paper wallet. Of course this choice is yours.

Good evening, I would like to know what is the safest way to store altcoins.

I think good for you is paper wallet or desktop wallet those wallet are offline wallet if you can't afford nano ledger and trezor wallet. This is very safe storage of you're altcoins i guess, but if you wan't hardware wallet ledger nano s. and trezor have a private key always and don't lost it.
For you're ethereum the best wallet is Myetherwallet or MEW for ERC20 based token much better is this.
REMEMBER, to avoid leak of hacking or scamming always keep your private key and don't tell your friends for those closed to you.

Good evening, I would like to know what is the safest way to store altcoins.
Use a hardware wallet to keep your coins safe against hackers. The vulnerability of offline wallets are still high percentage so better safe than lose bags of altcoins. Just make sure that your altcoins are worthy than your hardware  Grin

Good evening, I would like to know what is the safest way to store altcoins.

if you really dont want to lose your coin or tokens, secure it with an airgapped deviced like Ledger or Trezor. Currently, only that device which provide better security.

im using MyEtherWallet and ImToken and as far as today i didnt experience any casualty on my tokens. The security of the wallet i think depends on where you register your wallet.

The most safest way is storing them in ledger nano s, if a coin is not supported, use its own wallet or last mobile wallets

I'm no expert but AFAIK, the most secure way to store your cryptocurrencies long-term is to back them up. You could also store them on a hardware wallet such as Trezor or Ledger Nano, but that alone would not be sufficient. You should have multiple backups as well. This means even if you use a hardware wallet you should probably put them on an external and store those in a safety deposit box at a bank. You could also consider using paper wallets for some, but paper is easier to lose or destroy so keep them in a ziplock or any airtight container.

I am using Ledger Nano and i am satisfied with it. You can use to store all your tokens and major coins.
It has nice recovery options and really easy to use. If you don't have neough budget then paper wallet is the best option.

Good evening, I would like to know what is the safest way to store altcoins.

The safest way for you to store your specific Altcoins is to secure it by yourself so download the Altcoin's very own wallet that is giving you the right to hold your own private keys as no one will get access to your wallet in that way not unless you give it intentionally to others. If you want to hold it in a long term basis and to calm your mind you must never rely to store your cryptocurrencies to online exchanges even if it's a legitimate one. And when transacting online you must be vigilant in looking for the right URL because there are so many phishing website that is almost the same with the original one.

The safes wallet for altcoins would be a hardware wallet which supports multiple altcoins. In this case it would be Ledger Nano S which supports the major altcoins. Trezor is an alternative to Ledger Nano wallet. Although hardware wallets are a bit costly but they provide a better security than any other wallets. Most people tend to choose this wallet as it is the most safest wallet. Next to this would be a paper wallet which you can easily get it from their official website. You can also install the altcoin's official wallet in your PC or smartphone.

Good evening, I would like to know what is the safest way to store altcoins.

Safest way will be always cold storage, a computer that is offline no internet access via LAN or WiFi (ideally not present at all) Wallet is created in an offline environment. You can buy hardware wallet that is very secure, impossible to lost coins once you get to know how to use it, even your computer is compromised and someone has access in order to create transaction you will need to put the PIN code on your wallet and confirm the transaction. Most popular hardware wallets are Trezor and Ledger Nano S. Next step down is wallet on your PC - for Bitcoins Electrum is a good way to go. For Ethereum ERC20 based Tokens - MyEtherWallet is OK. Remember you can check balance in Ethereum explorer no need to login to MEW every time same with BTC using explorer. I use MyEtherWallet - passwords and private key I keep encrypted on offline PC with VeraCrypt (based on TrueCrypt). Cold storage and hardware wallet will be the most secure way to store Bitcoins and other alts.
