Since there will be a whole lot of heat in there, how about the  cooling system ?
It seems to be a cold out there though.
You want more of power information you said ?

We are fine with cooling - it will all be handled by fans. I am looking into routine automation platforms for miming, and actually already found some.

I am always amazed just by looking at mining sites.  Shocked Good luck with your venture!
Mining is not easy as many people think and is very difficult to have mining farm as private, because if it's easy it would have be every where, the picture in background is showing that the farm is large and i appreciate it very well.

Thanks for correction, just so used to writing kWh Cheesy

This power plant is capable of providing only up to 4 MWh
You perhaps meant to say 4MW (MegaWatts)?.
MW is the the measure of power capacity available at any point in time whereas MWh is MegaWatt/hours which is a measure of total power usage over time (hours)...

Some flights with equipment from China got delayed.
Assembling the first room in the building at the smaller location. This power plant is capable of providing only up to 4 MWh.
It will have a few rooms like this and containers outside.

And here is a video of the first container:

Actually, setting up such mining hotels is an interesting job. You get to meet variety of people - from construction workers to the fund managers who want to invest. And you have to know how to properly speak with both types of people to get what you need.
If anyone wants to share their experience - please do so, I also want to learn best practices from others.

One of the mining hotel locations is being built right now:

Other locations are in the process to have existing buildings remodeled and mining containers installed.
At this point we were able to acquire all the necessary equipment within acceptable time frames and we hope that virus won't spoil the fun.

Will update this thread later with more content.

Interesting concept for sure but I would like to see how they can pay for that electric bill plus guests usage and still be profitable enough to stay in business, especially in a bear market.  I like the idea and I think you could pull it off for sure I would just ensure the financials make sense.

Thanks, it was not related to anyone being licensed, even proven technical solutions fail sometimes.
This time we will have a slightly different setup.

Looks great!

Hope you hire a licensed electrician this time so that this farm doesn't catch a flame!

Good luck on your business ventures.  Cheesy

Good Day, fellow miners!

Hope all of you are already rich Cool

Recently I've been contacted by a power generation company that wants to build a mining hotel.
They want to start with just about 10MW and then double, triple, quadruple....

They have a few buildings on site, here is how they look like: https://youtu.be/VbW3fngQB2Q
Some have lots of stuff to remove:

Of course, some work with walls will be required, we will have the air inflow on the ground level, install filters there, and then miners will be placed on the 1st and 2nd floors near the walls with active exhaust ventilation.

I know some people here are pretty creative, if anyone could share any ideas about anything, including automation, it would be great!
We can schedule a zoom call or discuss here.

I am thinking about building all software-related things with my team, as I couldn't google any complete solutions to automatically troubleshoot miners en masse without a human involvement.

Ventilation and power automation solutions are OK - they are present on the market.

Please share your thoughts, if you don't mind Smiley

UPDATE 1 (2021-DEC-24):
First miners installed in the building: https://youtu.be/O4VCHQ08kMI
This room will have the capacity to supply 1/2 MW.
