Hello everyone,

I am new to the bitcoin community and interested to learn about bitcoin. Is there anyone will help me by guiding the best way for a beginner? I’m seeking for where to start, how to start, the useful tools and resources or any tips and tricks you have. I’m eagerly waiting for your help and will be glad forever for you help.

Thanks in advance.
Welcome to the forum. Almost all of us are here because we are interested in bitcoin. It is very risky to be interested in bitcoin when you have no knowledge or maybe very little knowledge about Bitcoin. Do not just rely on what you were told by your friends about bitcoin. Your findings about bitcoin should help you know what to do when the price of bitcoin is low and what to do when the price is high too. With that information, should be able to prepare your mind for your investment journey. Bitcoin is a very volatile digital currency, hence the need to work on your emotions.

Aside the fact that Bitcoin price is highly volatile, scammers are also everywhere seeking for newbies to defraud. There is need to be security conscious always. Protect your wallet and your private keys. Strangers who would come to offer you some unsolicited help are suspects. Protect yourself always and you'll be safe.

All the information you need to know about bitcoin are here in this forum. Read, use the search function to look for specific topics and ask questions where you need clarity.

Hello everyone,

I have seen that every senior user in this trade has put different links, so OP you must enter each link. If you follow them, you will definitely understand everything and you will definitely learn where to work if you observe them from senior brothers. But it is very important that you spend time on this forum, the more you learn the more knowledge you will have. So you need to know about every topic.

I've seen significant topics posted above, and all of them are crucial to aid in your learning. Just take your time and never rush on learning for you to earn quickly, that is never a good mindset. Also, patience is a must. You won't go far learning in this crypto community if you don't have the patience to explore different aspects about bitcoin and its crypto space.

Not just patient and informed about every topic, we can't memorize it. OP can learn by spending time on this forum, because the more time I spend then the more he can learn. I may be able to help you but I will never be able to get the OP into my mind or consciousness. So one has to be patient and spend time to understand all the information about Bitcoin that one needs to know. And after knowing all the contents he can participate in Bitcoin holding.

There's actually no specific or particular trick or pattern to getting it all in Bitcoin but to learn and still follow in with the pattern that you have gat from all that you have been learning its still very important to put to practice all that you have learnt all this period and not to just continue learning without practicing becaus that will turn out not been beneficial in any way to you as you will not have the first hand experience that will get you better at that which you were supposed to do as at the time you were to do it. there are sites that will be very useful for your learning journey, i will always reference some exchanges as they to offer beginners tutoring at times of which you can benefit from but you may not know if you haven't explore it, Bybit and Binance i know for sure does share some educational materials which you can take advantage of.

I would have love to give you more materials to go through but I guess you have to make use of the above materials provided by SatoPrincess first and one thing is common asking for materials is simple but using them is always difficult, I urge you to try and go through them properly.
The problem I have with people that want to learn and are always asking of material the question now is that do they really want to read, majority of them will just gather materials and they won’t read, and their is no way that reading can be excluded, to make money you must learn. And if you don’t understand what you are reading, this forum is another place to learn and you won’t even pay a dime to learn so if the book don’t work come to the forum their is no way you won’t learn.
The materials provided in the comments by several users are enough for everyone who is new to cryptocurrency to learn and get familiar with some basics of Bitcoin, blockchain, and lots more, but most newbies don't go through them, they only ask these questions nowadays just to get attention from other high-ranking members. But it is good because some high-ranking members do use these links to gain more knowledge.

Another thing I would advise you is to go through all the pinned threads in each boards, you will have insights on how to go about those boards through the pinned threads.
Their boards that will make everything very easy, from those threads you can have answers to majority of the questions bothering, for those that are actually shy to ask questions, the thread is their I see some people been afraid of contributing or even asking questions, but with time when they get use to the entire system they will know when to contributing or not.
The pinned threads in all sections are for guidance, but you know that when you are new in a place, you have to learn first, and some of them will think that asking questions will be better for them, which is right because they will get the exact results they want. After that, they will get to understand that the pinned threads are for guidance, and it entails everything we need to know about the forum and the sections.

Welcome onboard! First, let me ask you if you are actually ready physically, mentally and emotionally to learn bitcoin and its crypto space? Because if you do, make sure that you do your own diligence to read and study, and even make extended research if possible so that you will learn more effectively.

I've seen significant topics posted above, and all of them are crucial to aid in your learning. Just take your time and never rush on learning for you to earn quickly, that is never a good mindset. Remember to take few minutes of your time to read about the forum rules
Forum rules are many and complicated enough so a few minutes is for a first reading time. It is helpful to get an overview on forum, its rules but to actually understand all rules or just most of rules, it takes more than one reading round and requires patience of reading and absorbing the document.

Yeah you are right and I just used the word few minutes to remind the op that he needs to know about the rules, as someone who is new to a place it is the responsibility of the person to read and understand the rules and regulations of the place even in local meetings the rules are presented to all members and when their is a new member the rules are given to them to go through and it becomes their responsibility to always go through it any moment of their time.

The Op can't know everything in a hurry so he or she needs time to understand everything and sticking around the forum will help him to understand the rules and regulations even as he will learn more new things especially things that are Bitcoin related.
You are correct in your advice given to OP, on not learning everything in a hurry, when there is much time on his or her side to do that, to get acquitted with the knowledge the forum offers.

Many of us didn't just learn everything about bitcoin in a hurry. It took us days, even months before we knew much about bitcoin. However, I won't advise the OP to be in a hurry to learn it all because some of us in question are still learning new things about bitcoin every day through this forum. We can't say we have learned it all or know it all about bitcoin, so no need for us to have additional knowledge of what bitcoin offers in this beautiful forum.

You can read the guides and tutorials available on the forum which can help you understand the basics of Bitcoin. In the top right corner of your device there is a search column which can help you find what you want to search for more easily.

When I was a beginner, I was interested in Bitcoin because of its lucrative trade. That's what made me more familiar with Bitcoin and crypto in general. You must have a clear specific wish. It will make it easier for you to learn, because it will keep you concentrated on your goals. In general, if you learn bitcoin, it can be obtained easily, but there are some problems such as the truth. You can start on this forum or if you have a good friend who has mastered then it is much better. Because I used to start with my best friend and study independently on the internet and local discussion forums.

Asking for materials, collecting them, saving them carefully but barely use them for learning. It's common practice from newbies but they can change themselves. Some newbies can actually learn and become knowledgeable with good resources they collected.

As senior members, I share resources for newbies, whenever I can, but I realize the barrier you said. Newbies must overcome it by themselves and use many available free resources for learning.

In Beginners & Help board, there are some sticky threads with one of them is about Bitcoin. That thread is good enough for newbies to start off learning about Bitcoin. Reading them, learning them and they will gain good knowledge and be able to ask more valuable questions for their next learning stages.

Of course you can ask questions, but if you are person that don't rely on anyone and wanted to learn everything by yourself, then it might be better that way.
By reading, exploring the forum, asking around, OP will learn many new things every day. Even old members sometimes discover new things even forum rules which they did not know or understand correctly over a long time of experience here.

Don't hesitate to read and ask, but remember that reading and searching first, before asking.

The ideal place to start your Bitcoin journey is in Bitcointalk. I will suggest you become committed to reading the information in this forum. There are no tricks or shortcuts to becoming a successful Bitcoiner. Just like every other field, you need to put in some level of hard work and commitment. Besides the forum, you can also find valuable resources on social media and other platforms. But you have to verify the information you get before putting them into practice. You can check out learning materials from Andreas Antonopoulos, he has some quality teachings on Bitcoin.

I don't know what are your goals and aspirations, but you need to know that Bitcoin is not a means to get rich quickly nor is it a Ponzi scheme. To benefit from the sector you need to be a knowledgeable and patient investor.

Another thing I would advise you is to go through all the pinned threads in each boards, you will have insights on how to go about those boards through the pinned threads.

This has been my concern too. Op made this post yesterday and he’s been online today in the early hours thou but there’s no any feedback from him concerning the materials and website that were shared here in order for us to know that he’s serious to learn and following up with the thread.

By the way, I’m not saying he has abandoned the thread but that is the case with majority of newbies creating threads like this. Some might probably not visit the thread again after it creation. Following up and giving feedback create room for more helpful information to be shared by people that have it.

To op, in case you’re seeing this, most necessary materials have been made available for you under this thread and they’ll definitely be of help if you make use of them properly. My little cent of advice for you is that you shouldn’t be in haste to make money from this industry of digital currency, dedicate your time to learn first and possess some knowledge before you begin. It’s nice to have you here with us, however, it would be nicer to keep to the rules guiding this community.

Build the basics and understand cryptocurrencies by starting with familiarizing yourself with the general concept: what are they, and how do they work? Then, dive deep into Bitcoin.

Learning resources such as articles, videos, books, and online courses will also be helpful. Get involved with wallets, exchanges, and communities.

Tips and tricks? Be skeptical, learn about security, and start small.
