After many weeks of hard work, I achieved most of your recommandations to make Seekoin better.

Here are they:

- new professional and responsive user interface, hope you like it
- logo redesigned
- lots of improvements in the SERP to make them better
- more terminology, populating them day by day to improve the quality of the index
- cache system, the SERP page are now very fast to load
- fixed lots of bugs ...
- added Bitcoin address to track transactions
- better indexing via Bobo
 
I am sure I forgot some of the new features

An idea: What about to add a real wiki - an "encyclopedia" that your users could edit themselves? That would make addition and actualization of data about cryptocurrencies (for the Knowledge Graph) much easier as most altcoin communities like to spread (to not say "spam") information about their coins in all parts of the Web.

Your opinion is right: 50% of the messages above tell the design sucks

Can I suggest about the design?, I am browsing in a large screen and it appears that the content is only half the screen and its aligned left. How about centering it? And the Menu will be in the upper right or in footer. just an opinion.

Not yet sure coz I want to preserve the ranking algo for obvious reasons (as mentionned before). Meanwhile I could find an interest to improve the output especially in term of design, caching as well maybe. What is your idea ?

That is not bad at all.Are you willing to open source the code on github ? It does lack fancy designs and stuff.We can do a lot more than just static searches.Not trying to be next google but it could be one source of all the information regarding bitcoins.

Not so many visitors, I guess because SeeKoin doesn't have much content. By the way, there are some people starting dropping links to the search engine. So, I usually get 20 up to 60 visitors a day.

Damn,I almost forget about this project.A bump after a long time dev.Have you made any significant changes as suggested in the above posts ? This definitely deserves much exposure then it has now.Mind revealing how many users/searches you are getting on daily basis ?

Great ! I've tried to use your search engine and to be honest. I love it! It's fast and uses minimal resources making it faster to load than the regular search engine. Also, when a crypto-currency is searched. It reveals the detailed information about that which I found it very convenient. In addition, the site also has the faucets which is beneficial to those who are only starting to know bitcoin. Just need some improvement for the display but all in all. This is a great project.

Great project dude! Apart from search engine I see a directory of faucets which may be beneficial for many faucet users. Also start having some ad space so that you can get some return for your efforts.

I like the homepage, it's fast and simple. However, the alignment is little wrong but I think with time, it will be corrected. I wish you all the success with this project. Also please let us know how do people submit their crypto related website to your search engine?

I just completed some upgrades of the search engine based on your comments; allow me to describe them:

- Added PDF indexing. SeeKoin can now index them as long as they are crypto/blockchain related.

- Added Onion URL: Bitcoin pages are often connected to Tor. So, I choose to index them as well. But don't expect to have lots of them: onion URL are obviously difficult to find and many times not so-friendly with crawlers, dunno why  

- Added SeeKoin Knowledge Graph: display more details related to the crypto you are looking for. So this was the main upgrade I coded: you can now retrieve many real-time data like rate, volume, difficulty, hashrate, and so on. All that precious information you're looking for, day by day. Type "bitcoin" or "bitcoin price", "ethereum price", to see what I mean.

- Added chart prices for the main crypto (plan to add more and more in the future). Let me first parse them.

- Added lots of crypto terminology so that SeeKoin will become a sort of SeekeePedia. Check for instance "wallet" "ipo" "dao" "fork", etc.

Coming soon:
- A new user interface to replace the ugly one coded by the worst designer of the world: myself
- Improvement of the SERP to make them more relevant
- Add other charts (volume)
- More cryptocurrencies
- More terminology (A long way ...)
- A caching system to speed up the site
- Shift the site to SSL

Of course, I will always listen to your expectations and comments to make the site better and better.

it looks good to help people more easily find something about cryptocurrency with accurate information

First, congratulations - it's a good start already

Now, memequiserle's question is kind of relevant if you want to really drive traffic there. For this purpose I would gradually improve the search engine to include more cryptocurrency-specific features.

Nice features would be:
- display cryptocurrency prices in a "structured" manner. E.g. if the user requests "bitcoin price", give them various sources with the actual prices in USD, EUR, CNY etc. For the far future, a recent "chart pic" would be uber-cool ...
- a block explorer integration for the most relevant cryptocurrencies
- structured information about a cryptocurrency. e.g. if you enter "Ethereum", display a box with some basic informations about that cryptocurrency, similar to the Google Knowledge Graph.

@memequiserle: My search engine is fully dedicated to Bitcoin, unlike Google which is an universal search engine. And more:
- build its index according to the requests entered by the user
- don't spy on you. I even don't use cookies to identify visitors
- improve its features according to what the users are expected.
