I think that it will happen for sure, but very few people will support it. So if new coin will not be supported its price should be low. Is there any statement of exchanges about it?

How can it be threat for Bitcoin?

Not a threat to Bitcoin, but to Bitcoin holders. There are things like replay attacks that can make you lose your Bitcoin if you spend the Bitcoin SegWit2X. Although the chances are minimal that anyone is going to claim them when no one is mining it.

I can not understand whom to believe. I heard that segWit2x postponed indefinitely because the community has not reached consensus on this issue. You say that it is trying to run. Who is right? I don't see any changes in the market. It seems to me that such an event can not affect the price of coins. It's probably fake.

Some reports on Twitter say the first 2 SegWit2X blocks failed. Not sure if that means it's dead in the water or if it can still be a threat.

Did this really happened? Ive seen on exchange chats that segwit2x was happening. And coinbase emailed everybody about this fork. So who actually forked this segwit2x? Im sure it wasnt the original groups. Can you give us more details? I cant seem to find anything online. This b2x coin has been being pumped all day.

So finally B2X is happened today on block 494784 despite the lack of consensus in the last week. Coinbase has already disabled the transactions of btc.

What will be the effect of this fork on BTC?
