After the newborn "Bitcoin Gold", Segwit2X announced the hard fork is going to take place in less than 14 days.

I was wondering, what's the meaning of all these endless hard forks?

Any feedback/comments/suggestions are welcomed.
All these forks are meant for improvement of technology and upgraded version of bitcoin, so they say. Some of them are useful like say bitcoin cash and some of them are nothing but lame bullshit which hardly contributes to the crypto society like the newly introduced shitcoin namely Bitcoin Gold. These forks are continue to come and go, the plus point for consumers is that they can get free money and nothing else.

Well, as times goes by, I believe in the future there might be a lot more forks and whatever that you called it.
As long as it makes bitcoin to become more stronger and a better improvement, people will surely know which one tho choose, then, why not?

Just look at the bright side, whenever these things happen, btc value has increased even more.
Btw, what happened to bitcoin gold? Seems like it's not as famous as bitcoin cash.

There is really no meaning. The overwhelming majority of these forks were, and are still being conceived to get quick money. It's really sad, because forks should be used to pursue Bitcoin improvements. Forks should be a good thing, it's just that people are using them in a bad way.

Segwit2x looks good on paper, but the circumstances around it is just completely shady. I don't believe it is being done on good faith, and I therefore do not support it. It's a threat.

Goddamn, how many more forks are we going to see? People started using this only to pump BTC price...
I dont think so mate, as long as the result of every fork is good to bitcoin there is no problem because as i see after fork the bitcoin value are continue increasing and brings more profit to us.
Hoping this coming segwit will give smooth transaction in bitcoin and also vakue of bitcoin will continue to rise.

in my research i can foresee that segwit2x b2x has much more impact than bch or btg. but still in my opinion those forks cant kill btc. btc will still remain as the king.

Let there be many forks happen, only thing that will happen is that continue holding/buying btc only and you will see your investment just getting better returns daily. Just consider the fork which started from Aug from that value of btc after 2 fork happened today btc prices have only risen and will only rise.

Well the funny thing is while this may be true, we're not seeing all those people sell after the fork. In August, the first Bitcoin Cash hard fork drove up the price to $3,000...and we're more than double that now.

The real test of price support will be in 2018 when the fog of this hard fork talk has lifted.

As far as I know, Segwit2X is Bitcoin's revolutionary technology, which dramatically improves bitcoin, making the speed of each transaction faster, lower costs and more data storage. . That's what Bitcoin participants are expecting and it will make bitcoin grow faster. If Segwit2X passes this stage, it can help Bitcoin go further in the future

i dunno.... i get the feeling that this time, a lot more of us are going to get forked real hard...

I see that bitcoin has started quick recovery. It is worrying me. I think that the price will rise to the bifurcation. In front of her we can see a sharp drop in prices. I'm not expecting good news before segwit2x. I haven't decided, but this time I might sell coins and wait when the situation becomes clearer.

As I expected, the Bitcoin Gold fork has caused "fork fatigue." Even newbies are now complaining about "endless hard forks".... unwittingly or not, the BTG team may have delivered victory against Segwit2x to Core. After Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold, hard forks just look like altcoins.

But I wouldn't get too comfortable yet. This fork has no replay protection and the developers intend for the original chain to die. Further, this fork has the support of some of the industries biggest players -- miners, exchanges, payment processors. Whatever you do, keep your BTC safe at fork time and be very careful sending coins after the fork. It's much harder to get your "free money" with this fork without losing coins.
