Bluestacks is an emulator. If he ever accesses coc using his gmail account he might have to give away his email too. Cause it won't let you link devices. (Not sure though)

The question is probably because of some accounts only works on android and some on ios. You cant transfer android accounts to ios and vice versa AFAIK
