All the smart people here are not expecting a high price on the halving day itself.

I was promised a new ATH, which is more than $1,200. You're telling me ...no? Cry

Newbs!!  Cheesy

Who promised that to you? Did Bitcoin visit you in a dream?

No, it was expert disruptive blockchain technologists much like yourself, they explained to me how it was a sure thing, because the supply is halvening and professional currency investors are going to panic buy us to the moon. So 1 went "all in" back when the price was a sure thing to rise at 700 dollars around this time yesterday. Lost about a grand thus far.
Should I keep "hodling"?

Oh I see, you're not just a newbie, you are an idiot...or a paid shill but I' might be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. I for one never told anyone that prices were guaranteed to be at a certain level on the first day of the halving. It would be just as silly to say it as it would be to believe it lol.

Personally I just think you're a liar and you're trying to give Bitcoin a bad name. But if you're not a liar, I'm glad you lost your money you were saving for retirement. We need less retards on this forum. So sorry you didn't just buy a year ago when prices were in the $200s  Cheesy

What "blockchain technologist" told you Bitcoin was guaranteed to be a certain price on the first day of the halving, before the market even has a chance to actually experience the shortage? Please provide a link

Why are you calling me an idiot, finance visionary, talented video producer and MTV-caliber guitarist Jarred Boyce? We can't all be all around hep cat international finance moguls like you. The missus don't even know I invested our pension fund yet, and I'm not telling her until I make back the money I lost.
When do you think that would be?

I wonder why anonymous trolls are so interested in trying to show off their google searching talents when they can't even spell the words they are searching for?

You aren't the first troll to do that. Do you trolls think it's intimidating or something to admit that you internet stalk when you're not busy posting useless garbage on Internet forums?

My advice to every troll is to sell, and sell cheap. Buy high and sell low. That's my advice to you. Don't hold for the epic rally that's on the way

Nothing is guaranteed. But I am putting my money where my mouth is and I anticipate we will leave the ATH in the dust in 7-10 months if not much earlier.  Before 2018 it's possible that we might even be approaching 5 digits, but there's lots of factors to consider

Nothing's cheap at $650 a piece.

Seems to me lots of you are expecting $750 at least on July 9th, the day of halving. I think it's more likely to be $550. Many Chinese noobs are trying to get out of btc right now. They've seen how risky it is and they can't tolerate it any longer. It's a good time to sell now.

Nothing is cheap at $650 a piece? Lol how about GOLD! Haha, what a retarded statement and from a perma-bear always preaching DOOM! Sounds like the only thing cheap here is your TALK, talks_cheep lol. Pun intended.

All the smart people here are not expecting a high price on the halving day itself. Us long term holders could care less if the price dropped to $550. Especially since we were buying at $200 while trolls like you were shouting from the rooftops to sell. With a market cap as small as $10 Billion, it's quite easy for whales to push their weight around. Although, these whales will have to push A LOT more weight when supply issuance gets cut in half. If you don't understand why then you don't understand basic math

I can see a signal to sell m y bitcoin so i will still hold my bitcoin until the block halving is done.. Honestly many people are still buying instead of selling.. because they believe that bitcoin will increase more.

We still have a bit unpredictable volatility. For people who bought in at between $450 and $550, it may be a good moment to sell. The 700 peak was a bit early perhaps for a really stable uptrend all the way up to a new 2015/2016 high.

But for me the crucial price range is 550-580. If this mark is broken to the downside, then I would change the predictions to bearish ones. It may go not down so much like last year, but a $400-410 floor is totally reachable then. If we stay above 550 even with the predictable price swings around the halving date, in contrast, my prediction is very bullish for the next months - if there are no fundamentals that ruin it (e.g. a new overheated block size/segwit/Blockstream debate) - but the rise will be slower than in the June pump.

I am quite sure that the sellers will regret having sold right now. The only thing they are doing is feeding the whales. People that haven't bought yet should do it now as I am quite sure that the price will go up again.

i think you are right, also some newbies might be panic selling their coins because they are afraid that the price will be dumped but this will not happen in my opinion

i think the idea to sell out your coins at the moment would be really dumb as you will be able to sell it later for a much bigger price, i think it is much better to hold your coins right now

just some rookies selling their coins in panic. they will surely end up buying their coins back at much higher levels. it's their usual routine.

It's pretty pathetic selling at these prices unless you're a whsle and $10-20 per coin adds up to huge profits with your huge stash.

I wonder that why people are selling their coins now as they have bought their coins for the halving and at the time of buying they said that they will hold till halving but now when halving is only a few days away , they are selling without getting the profit of halving.

I don't think the halving will do much more than it already has....but definitely hold, price will at least double in the next year or two. Just keep putting in spare change and watch it grow Smiley buy in the dips (like right now)

halving is not yet started! so how can it not do much more?

the block reward should actually halve so that the effect that everybody was talking about for the last six month to come into full effect.

Looking at the present condition of bitcoin, I don't think anything good is gonna happen at halving, price fell again today and I hope it will not go below $600 in next few days.

If you're only looking 6 days ahead to the halving day itself than you are being short sighted. You have to look at the big picture

Even if it drops below 600...so what?
Take advantage of it and accumulate more if you can afford it.
In the long run price will move up to 1000 and higher.
If you're in for the long run you shouldn't care about those short term drops.
