That's very good prediction. I think the price is stabilising around this level as well.

Looking forward to Christmas as well Wink

I agree with you, I always try to take as much profit as possible.
It's better to whine if the prices goes back again. Taking profit (not with all your coins) is a secure way or getting towards your goal.

Selling some and holdiing the rest...
Interesting. I sold a lot and hold some.

When there is profit, you should take it. Especially in a market as volatile as bitcoin.

The best thing to do sell some and hold the rest. Well or I can just purchase something with bitcoin as gift.
My family would love to have some bitcoin Tongue I will just give them faucets to play some gambling sites.

Not a good idea to sell your coins currently as the peak is not yet decided and you don't really know, I would advice you to wait till January comes, watch the charts and then decide whether to hodl or sell...
I think that in January there will be the correction and the exchange rate may fall by a third so you need to act prudently and carefully.

Appreciate the good intention.

But you do realize you are posting in SPECULATION right?? We cant be happy to rest; we always have to know if it's going either UP or DOWN. Yes it may be Christmas but who cares about Christmas when the bitcoin price is moving!!!!!

In short we are mad gamblers who have to speculate on the price and can never be happy to rest. So please now let's close this thread so we can return to being either bull or bear.  Cheesy

hmmm well its a good idea to sell a portion of bitcoins that you have though in my opinion its better to keep it all safe in your wallet and not spend it anywhere just in case the price starts rocketing up

Looks like the game is 'Sell all, hold nothing.'  Things are burning down rather quickly these past few days.

don't know what you're talkign about, but the price is perfectly stable around 400, the 470 was just the peak, no one said that it should remain stuck there to consider 400 as a rock solid

still no sign of sub 400, i'm fine with it

Christmas is coming so take some rest, enjoy with your family and don't panic, It will go up again eventually.

I was quite panicked and has sold some. and some still I hold, because quite sure on Christmas Day there will be a surge in the price

Good that still you have some Bitcoin and yes it's everybody's speculation and practically understandable that there will be surge in Bitcoin price between Christmas and new year but today price was dipped slightly but again it's gonna rise..

I wouldn't panic and sell, I'm in it for the long term so even if bitcoin does decide to go lower than $400, I'm not too worried about it.
It will rise up again in value one way or another.

It is interesting how almost every is following this rule: "Sell some and hold rest". It seems like we are seeing end of current bubble, bitcoin will be probably back to $250-$300 in January.
Sell as much as you can. History is again repeating itself. (In 2014 price charts were exactly the same around this time of a year)

i am a happy holder. taking profits at these prices are good if you make $100 profit per coin, but you'll make an even bigger profit when you sell it closer to the block halving.

That is, provided the halving sends the price up the sky. Honestly, I'm beginning to think that we are somehow already nearing the halving price already.

I was never really panicking about the bitcoin price. I have been waiting a long time to sell my bitcoin and I really want to see the price reach $1000.

That's a great idea. I won't be selling though, not until bitcoin reaches a new ATH.
If and when that happens I will sell some, for now I'm just going to hold and earn more if I can.
