vps costs $22 per month.
hosting is not problem, $22 is nothing comparing with adsense profits.
but yes payouts are important point, while there are many members and have no minimum payout (which makes sites popular).
i pay about 0.2 btc daily on DonaldCoin, and 0.1 btc daily on each HitPxl and HenBTC.

payouts can be covered by %50 of adsense income in average for any site.
bitcoin advertising networks can be used as well with adsense to cover payouts and keep adsense mostly net profits..
