Alright, let's break this down one part at a time.

What it boils down to is that I don't believe anyone is dumb enough to send this guy sixty grand for a non-legal deed of moon land.

Agreed that in all likelihood nobody would take OP up on their offer.

I certainly don't think it's worth anyone's time to be going out looking for these users to warn the community of their evil plans...

It takes, what, maybe 30 seconds to write up a negative trust with reference link?

What I do believe is that this user will learn from this now.  He/She will read all the complaints about their attempt to sell this and will come back with a different username and a better scam, committed to stick it to those who foiled his/her plans here.  Now he/she has received some education and been given some motivation and may one day actually piece together a scam capable of tricking someone into sending funds (those by the way usually get pulled before any warning and sometimes even with the help of those the community has trusted to warn against such events).  All because we had to ring the alarm about this mastermind plan to sell a plot of land on the moon, which had 0 chance of ever going anywhere.

This is a bit too fanciful a tale to apply in broad strokes to what happens here on the forum. In addition, you have no evidence to back any of this up. It's all based on the fear of what _could_ happen. Regardless of your theory, the trust system is being used exactly for which it was intended in this instance.

Negative - You think that trading with this person is high-risk.

Doing nothing in place of this is not an improvement.

While I applaud your efforts to distribute merits to as many newbie forum members as possible, you are also responsible for ranking up more scammers than anyone on the forum, and that is pretty much provable thanks to forum statistics tools and scambusters. So, if you care so much about stopping scammers, perhaps reconsider your merit distribution policy. It makes a lot more sense than not tagging scammers.

Even if its not a scam (which is 99% likely, the remaining 1% being honest delusion), you know its a shit investment that would undoubtedly lose people money. Why would you defend OP against a negative, if you "care about the community" as you claim every day...

I'll explain as this is a legitimate question I would like to address.  What it boils down to is that I don't believe anyone is dumb enough to send this guy sixty grand for a non-legal deed of moon land.  I certainly don't think it's worth anyone's time to be going out looking for these users to warn the community of their evil plans...  Had people not been complaining about this thread, it would have been buried.

You think these people are warning the community with their feedback.  I think they're training and motivating scammers, regardless of their intentions.

The lack of negatives doesn't mean someone is trusted.  Lots of trusted people have negatives.  It's the number of positives that likely tells the trust story of a user.

Og... you shouldn't be posting peoples' PMs given all the lame shit you've randomly PM'd people over the years.

P.S. I don't think this is a good investment. Reminds me of the time someone tried to do an ICO around space gold mining.

OP got negative feedback for offering to resell these ridiculous deeds, which are an actual product.

Even if its not a scam (which is 99% likely, the remaining 1% being honest delusion), you know its a shit investment that would undoubtedly lose people money. Why would you defend OP against a negative, if you "care about the community" as you claim every day...

They got their negative because they deserved it.

OG you truly are a goober!!

....and the fact you brag about the solar panels that nasty mining "didn't pay for on your roof... wink, wink" has nothing to do with this topic.

Go back to wasting your time fighting the same 3 battles in META....  Roll Eyes

The guy is selling a lame product, but as far as I'm aware it is a real product.  Now people have to make sure that the goods they offer is something you deem as worthy in order to avoid a negative feedback from you?  Maybe I'm misunderstanding, because that would be insane.

As for your repeated lies about me...  I paid for my solar panels with my own money.  Not sure why that's hard for you to believe.  It's not like they were overly expensive but maybe if you're broke it might seem like a major purchase?  You'd think me publicly buying a Cybertruck with Bitcoin would be a larger source of pain to a miserable hater, but maybe you just hate environmentally friendly mining or did you not see that thread so you haven't started drama there yet?

As for "fighting the same 3 battles" I'm not sure what you're talking about.  I've been attacked with lies in the past by certain troublemakers like Lauda, TMAN, Vod...  It hasn't seemed to end well for them as constantly lying about someone is probably not the best treatment for an individual's mental health issues.  You should take note as you continue to push this made up story of yours that I somehow didn't pay for my solar panels.  I'd hate for you to be the next to blame me for your declining mental health because I continued refuting your lies and telling the truth about my actions.  As for what this has to do with the topic, I guess it shows that anonymousminer is an irrational liar that will jump to conclusions based on his emotions and his feedback should likely be ignored.

Oh ya, and this product is stupid.  I don't see anyone buying it no matter what the trust rating of this individual says.  However, the negative feedback ratings over this are just another case of miserable people spreading their misery around any chance they get.

No, but better safe than sorry.... you've been around long enough.  A newbie shows up selling lunar acreage and talking about mining rights.  This is an obvious scam, but maybe scammer like you has a hard time seeing the other scams nowadays.

As far as the Tesla goes... I could care less what you do with your money..... I just have a problem when you use nastyfans funds which should have gone to seat owners..... not that all those get their funds either.  Another scam for another time, right tough guy? Wink

Finally, I would trust Lauda or TMAN way before I'd trust you and your fake ass persona you've tried to create here.  You are a scumbag, simple as that.

I will not let up.... I will beat you bloody

Yet I'm the keyboard warrior right?

Posting private messages out of context now.....

Maybe you should post the whole thing for people to see, not just a snip.

Here is the whole string:

No scam seat coins. Quit being a bitch you worthless dingleberry on the back of the Bitcoin community.

You talk big from behind that keyboard.... anytime.... anyplace tough guy.  Kiss

Exactly the response I’d expect from a bitch. Vod says he has my info and is willing to give it out. Step up or shut the fuck up you worthless piece of shit. Trolling people’s for sale threads... You are pathetic. No way do I believe you are anything but a spineless bitch.

Exactly the response I saw coming from you.  I'm too smart for shenanigans like coming to your house with information from someone else.  I'm not going to jail for anyone.  Now if you really want to puff out that chest of yours... send me your address with an invitation to fight you in your front yard and I'll get on a plane.  Until then.... you are the bitch.  I'd love to punch the face that houses that pathetic public hair on your face you call a beard.  I'll show you how spineless I am.

Never trolling, just stating facts tough guy.  Kiss

Sounds more like any excuse to me. I don’t believe you can afford a plane ticket, let alone have the nuts to stand face to face to me. The burden is on you to prove yourself. My opinion is already that you’re a worthless bitch, so why would I care what you think of me. You’re the one continuing to try and get my attention. Bite me or be gone you little flea.

Not an excuse.... It's on you.  I told you what I need.  I'll be in Phoenix as soon as possible.... as soon as I have my get out of jail free card because I will not let up.... I will beat you bloody as soon as you agree to the fight and give me the address you giant pussy!!
Again, you are tough behind that keyboard you cum stain.

hey i happen to own the sun , will sell for 0.5 Bitcoin , great for Spas, sauna's , vacation homes hotels in a hot climate or a giant cigarette lighter!!

Do you give out samples?

I've got this project that's underway - nothing too serious mind you and I need some energy to recharge this small cannon.  Nothing too big mind you, it's the size of a continent, only been fired a few times already.  The previous owner is a little cash strapped after a misunderstanding with some Rebel Scum (one of whom it turned out was his Grand-daughter...).

I'd be careful offering to sell the sun even as a joke.  OP got negative feedback for offering to resell these ridiculous deeds, which are an actual product.

That being said, I've been getting free sun samples for years now.  I've even gone as far as to install energy capture devices on my roof to turn my free samples into electricity I use to mine crypto and I sometimes lay outside catching the free samples to recharge myself with vitamin D at no cost.

I actually love the idea of lunar deeds. It's not that loony - pun intended. I'll buy it for the fun of it but not for more than a token price. About the cost of the printing the deeds  Smiley Smiley Smiley

the problem is that when we actually get to where we can easily go back and forth to the moon - your deed may be null and void - it could be deemed that whoever sold it to you had no authority to do so.
That is if there is going to be a governing body that is going to acknowledge that you own the land because if we are going to colonize the moon which is a much better if we want to advance in space age instead of skipping to go to Mars, not to mention that we might not have any use with the acreage because the food will be grown in greenhouses and most parts of the moon is going to be mined.

Hope claims that as a private company his enterprise is not bound by the Outer Space Treaty. However, experts in space law have argued that if nation states cannot lay claim to outer space, then by implication neither can citizens or businesses of that state.

As Dr Stuart says, "At the risk of disappointing any proud owners, claims to land would be very unlikely to be upheld under international law and in any case several companies claimed the same plots of land many times over."

THAT's his loophole? Lol.

If this were real it would put the moon's current value at $310,963,155,793.87.

That seems a bit low to me, but it's still out of reach for the richest man in the world to purchase.  Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, or several other large companies would most likely have no problem buying the moon if this were the case.

Personally, I'd wait until people start setting foot on the moon before I purchased any real estate there.

Who gives anybody the rights to sell land the moon? for that, any other planet  Huh
and who would in their right mind purchase this?

this is almost the same as buying a star with your name on it, and receiving a document of it.
totally worthless

Like "Phil" said, this is a novelty item

This is a SCAM... period!!!  I don't care that you asked not to comment about this being a scam or not, but you come to this forum with a SCAM like this, you are going to get called out.  Take your PRETEND DEED and go somewhere else.

edit:
Maybe you have something available in international waters.... a nice plot of ocean?

Maybe you could find me a spot on one of Saturn's rings?

I guess Pluto is available for 250k..... Roll Eyes

At best this is like naming a star after someone.  You are a joke for even bringing this here talking about mining rights etc.  NOBODY can sell lunar property as NOBODY owns the moon.  Dennis Hope is WORSE than Bernie Madoff.  HUGE SCAM!!!

I promise that if anyone actually starts mining the moon and it is profitable they will have their own loophole to wipe their ass with your "deed."

If this was my website I would insist you mention that it may or may not be a worthless item and that most likely it is worthless.

But it is not my website and my opinion is pretty much worthless as to the true worth of your deed.

That is a pretty expensive price for something that you might not be able to live on. I did a quick search and found that what you are selling is currently on the gray area of fraud and legitimacy, these kind of service has been banned in China because it was considered a profiteering scheme. Good luck selling that land because no one in this forum currently will live long enough to be able to make a homestead in that land.

We can't have people profiteering can we.
If you actually do the maths it works out about $44,000 to buy at today's rates.
Then there is the fact it was purchased 24 years ago, in prime location facing Earth. That has to be worth something extra.
1 BTC is probably fair in terms of trade or swap.
There are literally millions of people all around the world that own the same Lunar Deeds, including Presidents.
If you want to debate the 'legitimacy' of it, I'm the wrong person to be talking to.
I believed in it then and i still do Cheesy
