Guy was pretending to be scammed hoping someone would feel sorry for him and send first. Then he scams.
I think it was probably actually to build trust. He was hoping that by being a "victim" of multiple scams he was hoping that the eventual buyer would believe him when he said he sent the bitcoin.

The problem is that anyone who has enough trading history to have a good amount of trust will know to verify the receipt of funds prior to sending funds of their own

The thing is that it would have worked with me potentially, because if he would have dealt with me I would have sent first to show I was legit about unloading my PP balance. Oh well.

Huh? https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10342258

I'm sure people are gonna be more suspicious about you now and paypal funds coming from a hacked account...

Why you dont use escrow wtf?Cheesy

Maybe because he doesn't have the BTC to fund the actual escrow? Looks like he's trying to trick people into sending him funds  Wink

Sorry for the delay but the limiter on this forum is insane... Are you really saying you didn't receive it, Spartan?

I will honour the payment if it is sent but as you can see nothing has been received on my end. I'm going to give u the benefit of the doubt here and ask where are you sending from? Do you see any txID anywhere?

What is a txID? I've sent it from JustCoin.com. Does that delay the process?

Could be. Well just have to wait and see

Shane my offer still stands. Sorry to hear you were ripped off, u should only send first to highly trusted members and not large amounts either. Use a middle man to escrow. I'll take whatever you have left. U can use any trusted escrow u like on here to complete the transaction

Deal. Set it up. I have 2.54 left.

Sweet, just let us know who to use as escrow unless u want to do it here publicly I'll post my BTC address and go with that. Ur choice bud

I don't even know what that means. I sent it from JustCoin.

Post publicly. How will you pay?

I'm gong for broke. Maybe someone on here is honest.

Right here my Bitcoin address is:
1GMArUyd34aqU5HnyDKFFaQgNtkvqCMRQV

My trust can be viewed here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=106038

Total amount I'll send over for 2.54BTC is $600US via PayPal.

Happy with that?

Sent Spartan. Please confirm receipt. Paypal = [email protected]
You did not send anything to that address. The OP is clearly a scammer HAHA

He was trying to show that he has bitcoin and to show he got scammed so others would not think to verify his actions so he can end up scamming
