Dont spend it yet this is only start price is again in pattern of increase for 3-4% per day. Calculate the price for next 20 days of for that 2 month and you will be surprised to see the figure.
Selling is not the option you if you have opportunity to buy it even more clean prof fit on daily bases.

BTC to the moon is inevitable...

i usually prefer "spending" my bitcoin when price goes up. that way i even save up more money.
let's say price is $2000 and i wanted to buy something worth $2000. i first have to go on an exchange or use other ways to convert bitcoin to fiat here are the fees
- transaction fee to transfer BTC to that place
- trading fee which is usually on exchanges (~0.2%) or sell at lower price if it is another method.
- withdrawal fee to cash out the fiat (it is a percentage of $2000 which will be different in different places).
- use credit card or something and pay fees to buy that thing i wanted.

now if i buy directly with bitcoin i usually find some kind of discount too. and i only pay the transaction fees to pay the merchant!

Hello,

Are you guys also selling your bitcoins for $2000,- per coin?
Or will you hold untill a higher price.

I personally think that when it reaches 2100-2200, it will dump . This is just a feeling

Let me know!
Yeah I am probably going to sell at around 2000 dollars. I think that there will be a small drop in price, then I will buy back my Bitcoin when it goes to about 1920 or something like that.

Will 2000$/btc earn enough profit for you? Will it make your dreams real? If you think so, then go for it. If not, don't sell a satoshi till you get what you want. Don't let the markets decide for you. You decide.

I will hold till we hit 500k$. But I will probably get carried away when it hits 100k$  Cheesy Anything lesser won't cut it.

I really wanted to see my first profit made with bitcoin, but yes you are right. I would've have WAY more profit when I sell it later.

Also, I dont need money right now & I can afford it to buy bitcoins every month.
Would you recommend doing this?

i am a hodler so no i won't sell at $2000 or any other price too cheap like that.
someone said a nice thing in the comments, i can't invest 10 million dollar over night in bitcoin, i don't have that kind of money so i buy 200-300 € $ ,.. each month when i get the money and this means when you sell you are selling to me so thanks for your cheap coins Wink

I will admit that I am greedy and will wait to see what happens when it hits that range that said I do not blame people for taking profits at 2K the opportunity cost presumes some will sell their coins and others will rebuy at that range predicting it goes up.
So it will be nice to see how long this wall holds or if it collapses before its at 2K and gets stuck at 1900.

The price is very close to 2000$ . For some people exactly this is the level they are waiting to,sell but I think it's worth waiting higher price, it will come for sure. Some dump is also possible but not some major one.

Yes I will sell the bitcoin that I hold when price at $ 2,000. I sell bitcoin when price at $ 2,000 because it has reached my target, since price at $ 1,300 I always buy some bitcoin and I have a target for selling when price at $ 2,000. I'd rather do it because it's easier to do. Maybe I also think like you, when the price reaches $ 2,100 - $ 2,200 it will dump . But I am sure it will not be far away and only for a moment.

I am a trader, so I will cash out some coins just under the $2000 level. Not that I believe the price will crash very deep, but more that as soon as Bitfinex touches the $2000 level, that a decent dump will show up either directly, or max an hour or two after that. Mark my words. From $2000 to very low $1900's, or even below the $1900 level, but I don't expect it to go below $1850.

I have sold 2.1 btc that I have earned them for 1 year when the price went 1000$ because I didnt think that would go higher. Now I realized that I have done a big mistake.Seeing nowdays news where a lot of goverments are supporting bitcoin I believe that the price will hit 3500$ in the end of the yeas.My advice is to hold everyone the coins.

I don't think I will sell out at $2000, no.  I think I am now a holder until I can directly swap my Bitcoin for property.
I always said that I would buy some gold when we reached parity, well I managed to do that, getting far more than 1oz per Bitcoin.

Now I really don't know what I would do with the fiat if I sold out of Bitcoin. I don't see any great investing opportunities, so I might as well stay in Bitcoin!

You have to consider the following:

1. like with any other asset trading, the majority of traders are losing, some few are winning

2. most participants in generally and in this forum specifically just follow the trend. They are never ahead of the trend.

3. You buy when all the naysayers appear here. You sell when everyone is in total euphoria and expect double price every day.

5. We are far from that now. If 80% of users here estimate it wont go up further it will go up further. If those 80% estimate
we see 1000 $ again we wont see it again.

Follow the crowd and you will lose. If you do not dare to trade against the majority, you are far better of with buy and hold. Its better for your nerves too.

Same as Op, we too can make predictions. The real outcome most of the time surprise the users. Even during the past pumping users were speculating that it could reach and so on, but it happened in a short and gave a surprise. Soon after that users started to quote $2000 to be the sell price. Now this is going to be the reality.
There were users who have targeted $1500 but bitcoin managed to reach near $2000 levels. So, people will keep switching over as per trend those speculators does not need to be actual traders. Honestly I am not having any plan to sell at $2000 levels. Maybe the reason is I am still expecting prices to reach $5000 levels before end of this year.

i never sell bitcoin no matter the value, unless i really need to sell because i can't pay my debt with bitcoin but i need fiat money, that is the only case to sell bitcoin
I have already started to copy these types of resolutions still I am not getting enough other income to manage my life by saving all my bitcoin earning. I am saving more than 60% of my bitcoin earning and I may save them till I get opportunities to spend them.

The way breaking above $2000 matters. If it would be like a test, it's opting for the sidelines below the level.

I would have started dumping by now, the bubble got too big this time, at last we found some gullible whales pumping every thing to the sky and as Bitcoin is the heaviest of all the coins it will do a free fall with maximum velocity.

Every body waiting with their fingers crossed to see a dip but the irony is where traders see price going down they say: well this is it one opportunity I was waiting for, so I should enter my position before it further pumps and the results are current market situation as price drops 2% some body pushes it up 2.3%.

That is what I call a naturally induced bubble with actual demand and with no ponzi manipulators trying to milk users.

Every single time I have bought Bitcoin then the price increased and every single time I bought altcoins the opposite happened and that's why I call them out as ponzi schemes and fake currencies.

in any other case i use them like a currency, why can people use more bitcoin as a currency instead of wasting fee by sending on exchange and creating an order which cost other fee plus the fee to make a sepa? no-sense
