There's no wrong in selling bitcoin especially at the time like this. We are all free to decide when it comes to our investments whether to hold it or not. Maybe we can say most of us prefer to hold our coins longer for greater profit success rate, but there are still investors who choose to have short term investments. They are the ones who have less patience, however, if they sell because there's an emergency not because of the negative news about bitcoin then it's forgivable. We all want to profit here, no one wants a loss and if someone choose to sell their coins then it is not our business, they are the one who are responsible to their actions.

In my opinion is a stupid decision to sell bitcoin, I think this is the time to invest(buy) in bitcoin, the experts are saying that in few years btc will be over 50k$... I hope they are right
It seems so, selling at a cheap price this time is stupid decision, I just hope that all users can be patient to wait at least until the end of the year and we can sell for an expensive price.

I sell my bitcoin if I already get profit on it like double my investment . Mostly I change my bitcoin to other crypto if I want to invest on any ICO or just buy in the market .
For me,selling bitcoin is not stupid,if they sell there bitcoin in low price it is better to buy bitcoin to have some more profits if the price is going back again bacause once you buy bitcoin in lower price if he value was came back it its vary worthit because you have a good profit.
If it is stupid then for sure all of us are just holders of it, but for some who are engaging their time in the market are doing a day trading or holding bitcoin for just a short period of time, but for me we should be balance that we should just hold a single of it and doing trading at the same time.

It could be good or bad so i think its not a stupid decision.
Its just like when the price of bitcoin still in its peak, then suddenly it started to drop to 10-13k usd, almost all of us still believes that it will soon comeback but the result is opposite it continue to drop. So for those who sell their bitcoin and avoid the huge loss , is it a stupid decision?

Selling isn't stupid but selling near the bottom or during a crash is. I sold a little bit of my stash and I don't feel bad or guilty or weird about it because it needed to be done. If there are others out there who are in profit but haven't taken profit and could use some profit, I implore you to sell some. If you bought bitcoin at 16k value and sold it before the last 3 months, you have lost less than you should. But if you bought bitcoin at its lowest value this year and you panic sell, then yes you have a lot to regret.
Besides you could do day to day trading which you can earn a little income instead of holding it too long.

Some people can decided to sell because they are still in profit. A lot of us bought btc below $1k last year beginning. If we sell now it's still more than x8 profit

Your strategy is good. Bitcoin price is lucrative now to buy. In comparison with the demand and future potential of bitcoin, it is under valued undoubtedly. Yet, if somebody wants to sell bitcoin and buy back again to lock short term gain, we can't claim it as a stupid decision. May be he wants to stop loss or lock short term profit Many experts predict the price to go at 50-100k in the 2020.

Bitcoin investment need a lot of patience. Also the potential gains are higher than potential loss. There is no need to cut the losses in hurry. I have read so many posts saying that bitcoin is a long term investment. Invest in btc and forget about it for some time. Right now the prices are going down but the btc is growing globally apart from the negativity in the market.

The price of bitcoin is constantly fluctuating, and every drop is temporary. The cost will soon recover, and it is very foolish to sell bitcoin at such a low price.
