I usually make the payment address public, easier for the buyer to prove payment to the public. I'll PM it to you and if you want I'll update this post with it.

UPDATE 2013/01/15: PMed payment address
UPDATE 2013/01/15: payment received in full (BTC 5.75)

I was sloppy washing my coins and do not wish to tell the whole world where to start analyzing transactions related to my persona Smiley  most of the coins come from Zimbabwe trillions anyway.
And when you say 'payment received' that should be proof enough that I settled my end of the agreement.
I'd rather use/leave OTC WOT feedback

btcrow uses as feedback (refers to) a site that seems to expired.
it shows a generic blah blah you can get this domain if you buy a 10$/m hosting plan.
do you know, by chance, other escrow providers? (I'm looking for recommendations as I'm about to sell some stuff for bitcoins - read bfl single)

you mean the link on the "feedback" page: to http://www.bitcoinsreview.com/2011/07/21/btcrow-com/

wow. that's old. maybe btcrow is dead?

I never used an escrow provider before... but would like to.

Does anyone know a trustworthy escrow service?

Cool! Is there any advantage to buy it from you over buying it directly? (And saving money)?

Only if you are from Europe.

That's not true. Europe shipping cost is the same as for World and that can still make sense (especially since I was able to lower the price). For example 4 coins to canada (tracked letter) will net you BTC 1.4625 per coin incl. shipping.

allright, choose a shipping option.

assuming worldwide tracked letter:

please pay to 1DgBUr3rLQBSNtmHSW6nJF8MBcm5fDkknM and PM me shipping info if you want to take the offer.

(I just changed my policy to require up-front payment for all orders. However you ordered before I made the change, so you can pay 50% now and 50% on receiving the coins)

UPDATE 2013/01/14: 50% down payment received
UPDATE 2013/01/15: shipped, PMed tracking # and coin addresses
UPDATE 2013/01/23: nexus6 reports coins as received, outstanding 50% payment received.

Fair enough, I just thought I might ask.

Also, I sent something I sold on ebay to Italy and the UK. It tool 3 days to arrive in the UK and 2 weeks for Italy, so I'm guessing something is happening there specifically?

I'm wanting to buy a few coins so I can offer them on diceoncrack.com and taabl.net

Will you offer any discount for quantities larger than 4? Say I want 10, 25 or even 50 if the price is right, what would those quantities cost me, including shipping to Europe?

I don't think that makes sense. Mike sells 10+ coins for 1.15 each plus pretty affordable shipping. I cannot beat that.

Just hypothetically: I would give a discount for 10 or more and sell them to you for 1.30. Shipping would cost €5.50 plus €1.5 for each €100 worth of insurance.

EDIT: also: shipping wont be faster, at least not by much. I have a shipment to Italy which I sent on 12/30. It still hasn't arrived. Mikes shipment to me (which he sent I think on 12/29) already arrived here.

You may as well order directly from Casascius if you're going to buy at least 10.  Casascius charges a lot more per coin for orders less than 10, so molecular uses that as an opportunity to be a middle man and offer people cheaper coins who want less than 10 by buying batches of coins and reselling them individually.  But if you're buying 10 or more, then molecular wouldn't be able to offer them at a better price than Casascius anyway.

Cool! Is there any advantage to buy it from you over buying it directly? (And saving money)?

For a single coin, casascius.com charges BTC 1.50 and prohibitively high shipping cost to anywhere outside of the US.

Offers like this one fill that niche.

For example:

1 coin shipped to germany from casascius official page will cost you BTC 1.9 (incl. shipping) and take about 10-15 days.
1 coin shipped to germany from me will (using currently highest bid) cost you BTC 1.418 (incl. shipping) and take about 2-4 days.

So it can make sense depending on circumstances.

I'm mainly doing it for fun and to spread the beautiful coins and of course bitcoin itself.

Ah, I see. I don't see the point of people buying single Casacius coins through but sounds like a cool christmas present Smiley

1 coin is better than 0 coins. Not everyone has much money left over.

I'm also thinking about selling batches of 2, 3, 5. I'm not sure I'll be able to package 2 for the shipping price of 1 (< 20 grams) securely (still has to go through mail sorter/scanner whatever), so if that doesn't work, the next sweet spot is probably around 4 or 5 coins (< 50 grams with good enough packaging).
