Actually, yes... if it's not secured it will push itself backwards and flop around and then cut your finger when you try to grab it. Not that.. umm.. I am speaking from experience.

I want one of these, but i simply am not in the financial state to buy one... I just can't get over the air flow... 2.46CF/S.... Do these things like...hover or go sporadic if not screwed down ....

Do these work with fan controllers such as this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811995016? If so, I am interested in purchasing a couple fans... I just don't want them running at full speed all the time.
Yes it will run on the that fan controller. You will need a 3 pin to 3pin extension cable that is long enough or daisy chained together to reach the fan controller though. You can put up to 3 of my fans per channel on that particular controller.
