Thank you. It is good to know there is a place to spend BTC. It is important for development.

BTW, there are a lot of places for you to spend your bitcoin. You can find some huge international companies as well as your local shops in the following 3 pages.

If you are going to sell it here on bitcointalk, please don't forget to use a trusted escrow to prevent getting scammed. Smiley

This right here.  If you're going to sell it here in BCT, make sure the escrow service or provider is a trusted one, or you'll possibly lose all your coins.  Getting the exact name is very important, as some scammers use a . at the end of their name, use the number 0 instead of letter O, or use an r and n together to look like the letter "m" and so forth.  Here's some resources:

Crytothrift is another auction eBay style website where you can sell goods:

https://cryptothrift.com/

If you use this forum, make sure you use escrow through a reputable member or service to provide a trustful transaction.

I feel like bitmit was the center hub of it all.

Not to down on the other sites, it just had more traffic.

The forum is probably a much better place to buy and sell digital goods than any of the other sites
Always feels like there is more actual transaction volume going through the forum than elsewhere

Yeah, there used to be a site called 'BitMit', but they closed down. I'm not sure cryptothrift is the best thing that can be, but it's still very good that there are still places where it is possible to buy/sell/auction off stuff for cryptocurrencies! Remember that there's also the Marketplace subforum on this forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=5.0!
