I do not know who would sell Lemonade for Bitcoins because I would not do that because I do not think that I would make much money with it at all.
This would be a good thing for kids who want to make money.

though it would make some return in my opinion, i think it is a really good idea and i would definitely not leave it and try to use it

It's not a bad idea to sell lemonade for bitcoins but the implementation seems a bit complicated to me, because I think that these lemonades are not expensive and don't know if worth waiting for a confirmation until you deliver the lemonade to the client. Have you though about this, tried or anything else?

The limitation will be the " Accepting Bitcoin only " option... It will work in areas where there are a big concentration of Bitcoin users already, but in areas where there are little acceptance, this will not survive. People are like sheep.. when they see other people paying with their phones, they will start asking questions... but if nobody is doing it, they will not try it out. It's just the way it is..  Roll Eyes ... Give HUGE discounts for people who pay with Bitcoin, and you will attract a lot more Bitcoin transactions.  Wink

I think you are right. By accepting only Bitcoin, you will not even get your business started, because people are not willing to make the effort of figuring out a new way of payment just to buy at your shop - unless you have a very exclusive and tempting offer (like $100 bills for $10 Cheesy) they will move on to the competition. The Bitcoin-only way might also be perceived of pressing people to use that kind of payment which leads to disapproval or even suspicion as people generally want to feel like having a choice.

Buy accepting both fiat and Bitcoin you will attract all customers and especially those that have never paid with Bitcoin. Now you can talk to people and offer Bitcoin payments as an attractive alternative by offering significant discounts. It's much easier to convince people if they already know you have good products and are a nice and trustworthy person to talk to.

What's your describing is typically American. There's no one selling lemonade on a table where I live.

The suggestion is not limited to selling lemonade. The idea is to start a micro business that accepts bitcoin as payment. It can be anything, like street foods and the like. The only disadvantage  of this one is the waiting time for confirmation and transactions fees for a very small item. Otherwise, this is a very good idea.

I also think that this is not very smart because you cannot make a lot of money with doing this, and its also that not a lot of people will buy it with bitcoins.
This is a useless idea in my eyes.

Idea sounds nice, but I think it won't be successful. Lemonade buyers would be kids, but they only have cash in their pockets. Mostly don't know about bitcoin and they not interested in it. It would be hard to find clients.

Yeah the typical stereotype US lemonade stand! Cheesy
I think this is something you really see happenign in the US.
In my country as well nobody is doing this. Also no garage sales are taking place here.
If you wanna sell your old stuff you either put it online on a local sells shop or you have to travel to peddlers markets where you can get rid off it.And for businesses like this people still prefer to pay with cash.
I think it's only stereotype taken from Hollywood films, where kids selling lemonade to earn few bucks

It is a nice suggestion but we do not have to choose for those things which will be easily available with fiat in other stores in our area, we have to choose for something different, like we have to import some attractive decorative goods from foreign and have to introduce them in our area with bitcoin, people will like to buy them and for that they will adopt bitcoin.

"Accepting only BTCitcoin!"...

Will the new customers have the patience to wait 20 minutes until the first confirmation comes?
And will the kids have the patience?...

I heard of a way you can skip the confirmations (on Xbox for example, it's an instant confirmation). That should be easy to be fixed.

If the network doesn't have at least one confirmation, anyone can easily double spend that money. It's not about the device you use, it's about how bitcoin works.

Very clever way to get bitcoin by selling lemonade. But in my country this will not work out because most people here dont know bitcoin yet. But your idea about garage selling looks nice.

I have a small gardening business which offers a 10% discount for paying oin bitcoin, still no one has but im sure they will sooner or later.  Roll Eyes

Offer more discount, > 20%, if you can.

The savings on credit card charges is ~2%, which can be passed on to customers.
A discount of 20% would break most businesses.  Smiley

Well it may be a good solution, but the fact you will be accepting only bitcoin will limit the sales, you could exchange the cash into bitcoin as well. It sounds a good idea selling something tradicional as lemonade and introduce bitcoin to others people.

Confirmation could be a problem, because of waiting, but I see some businesses have already accepted Bitcoin payment (some bakery in my hometown did) so there must be a way to solve this otherwise they would have given up by now. Maybe to do some inquieries about that. Anyway, don't give up, it's worth trying.

Roll Eyes ... Yeah.. right?.. WT^F??  Cheesy

First of all this is about how can we create a 100.000$ - 200.000$ bubble in BTCitcoinLandia.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Well the solution was like this... Buy... then hodl... then buy some more and hoddle some more. But... wait?.. what?... Because NO! .. that is not enough!

So the appropriate solution is to create weird kind of business selling anything! Sell old stuff... garage style selling, antiques, paintings, statues, flowers from your garden.. or potatoes & tomatoes... clothes.. etc... So basically.. Anything will do!

And one of the most interesting and appealing would be the one in the title... Selling Lemonade yo! Cheesy ... Just put your children in front of your house with the classic old fashion table... and the sign on it! And this goes for all the others mentioned above.

"Accepting only BTCitcoin!"... and maybe under the sign some promotional advertising...  "We also give weekly subscriptions or monthly! For respectively 1 liter/0.33 gallons per day. For the weekly subscription you have 10% discount and for the monthly one you have 25%."  Cheesy

Have at it! ... And don't forget to HODL!  Wink

Theres no harm in trying. Just try it and if it works then maybe you will get rich with that kind of system. Since peope will look for a new in of experience using bitcoins instead of money or cash, in some sense that will put weight to your business. I wish you luck in your bitcoin business hope you can make it big. I am also trying to make a business on my own using bitcoin but it only online.
