I was given a vouch copy, here is what I think.
Firstly, I believe the op is just reselling a book from another site, as the website from which it was bought from is listed in the pdf and the price is 25$ there vs 10$ here, so I am unsure if op is the owner of that website.
It can take upto 4-5 days to get your free domain, so i can't confirm if it works as of now, but it does seem its a legit method. Just so you know, you will be required to signup with a credit card at a domain site(secure). The work required to follow the steps isn't much.
Apart from just the method, the pdf also lists out 11 hosting sites which would host your website for free.

Honestly may sites are offering free domain .com to , biz and just to invite people to join in your referral and let them to buy a hosting or domain to get domain free..
