If you want to exchange your 0.032 Bitcoin into cash you need to sell it through exchanges like Coinbase or Binance. So exchange will help you to do this. After making sell and order is complete you can take money out of exchange and you can deposit it to your bank account. And keep in mind thatif you want to exchange or want to bring out your money so you will have to pay some fees for using exchange. This fees is like small charges for using service. And one more thing be aware of taxes in your country. You may have to pay taxes on money you make from selling your Bitcoin. And keep in mind that do some research and read reviews before choosing to sell your Bitcoin.

First of all beware of scam
Especially after you say something like this if you are truly legit maybe there are dozens of people are filled your DM right now.

In cases like this a lot of people are always falling to scam because they find it very hard to make the right choice, were to sell and it might sound easy but very deceptive because a lot of people will want to use such people to make money from novies like this and I love the fact that op brought the information hear to get more clearification so that he does not fall victim. And I don't know why scammers are always looking for target we all just have to be very careful.

Second of all you can watch entirely step by step on youtube video from installing a new wallet exporting the key and deposited into an exchange and withdraw it on exchange. But I got question for you is that all of your money?

And better off he can even go to sections and he will be given a proper guide or YouTube anyone op decides, and even YouTube is not bad because that like another easiest place to get information, it's easy but since it's like a opportunity for scammers then guidance is very important and that is why when I don't understand something my self I do consultations.

ive found i have 0.032 btc and have zero clue how to cash in
From your explanation it sound you don't know how come about the bitcoin in your wallet, meaning you never invested because you said "ive found out i have 0.032 btc" hope is not a flash bitcoin lol.

they are worth about 2.5k i think and id like to cash in 1k.

can anyone advise the easiest way, if there are any fees and if it makes a difference in exchange rates on which method / company i use?
If it may ask did you receive it in exchange wallet or non custodial wallet? Because if it is on exchange you just need to sell it for USDT, and engage in fiat P2P by so doing your there will be less fee. But if it was on non custodial wallet then must send some  portion to an exchange. They will charge you from sending bitcoin from non custodial wallet to exchange and still charge you when doing P2P. There is no bitcoin transaction without a fee.

If you want to sell your Bitcoin then of course you can use exchange, such as Binance exchange, Kucoin Exchange etc. And you can sell it according to the supported exchange of your country, and you can also exchange Bitcoin through ATM but you have to pay high fees there. So your easiest method will be to sell it on Bitcoin exchange then you can easily convert it to your country's fiat money

Thank u. I have raised a ticket with bittylicious for advice and will research info on here and YouTube tomorrow also.
I can see I have a canceled transaction in my history but I don't know if this was an attempted purchase of coins or an attempted transfer of coins. I'm wondering if I have some other coins somewhere in another that didn't transfer into bittylicious as this amount says 0.078 btc so would be nice if they were in another wallet I own. I just don't know how to follow the transaction paths so I'm a bit lost. I'm just concentrating on the 0.032 btc I can see I have for the time being though
To know how much you have on the exchange, go to your account overview and you will see the total dollar value of all the cryptocurrency you have in the exchange. You best bet is to use Youtube to learn how to sell your cryptocurrency for fiat since it is already in the exchange and that will depend on if Bittylicious offer P2P services as I understand it is a UK based exchange. If they don't offer that, then you have to use the withdrawal option and send the coin to another exchange, chosen from the list provided above, which offer such services. The entire process is easy but you have to just acquaint yourself of how it works.

Former sounds more likely. Could you show us a screenshot?

For this, OP could start in r/BitcoinUK. It's a pretty active subreddit.
This is what I would do too that is to join a group and ask someone from the same country on which or what exchanges that they sre using to buy and sell bitcoin if I want to know what things to do in order to sell the btc I have like in OP's situation. OP should also explain if he prefers not doing KYC or doesn't mind at all. I also want to see a screenshot so people could guide OP more clearly rather than just speculating what to do in order to help.

But you might as well rummage through all your old stuff. For instance, you could look up related keywords in your old email account/s - if you haven't already - e.g. BTC, bitcoin, names of exchanges in that period, etc. The same goes for old drives but lookup wallets in that period too and if you had some sort of info dump files/notes.

Only information for you and you will need to get advice from UK people with their own experience that is more accurate than what I only found on Internet and shared it to you.

You found some Sats. You have "zero clue" how to take things from there. But you have a Multibit HD wallet. You also have a Bittylicious account. You've made Bitcoin transactions just 3 years ago.

I'd say the math doesn't add up.

Be that as it may, you might want to try Peach Bitcoin's services. It's here: https://peachbitcoin.com/. It's a peer-to-peer platform. It doesn't ask for KYC. It is open for UK residents.

Do some research. Good luck!

I tried to check on the website or exchange but, tells me I need to use an IP address from the UK. It’s obviously a UK dedicated website like it’s been said. Without any knowledge of what the website looks like, I can only speculate on what normal exchanges gives you which is,
You having to buy/sell.

With the intent here being to sell at least 1k of your Bitcoin holding, you should place swap from coin value to £ and have the exchange automatically generate its equivalent in Bitcoin using a p2p transaction. That should help and mind you, don’t release coin until you’ve confirmed a credit alert on your local bank.

If you’ve got 2.5k euro/usd worth of bitcoin, that should already push you to do a little research and sell it at its current value, not settle for just 1k. Honestly, learning the basics isn’t that hard. It won’t even take much of your time since everything you need is free and available online.

You’re lucky... you didn’t even realize you were holding onto something valuable. But now’s the perfect time to cash out if you’re thinking about selling. Just don’t sell it cheap just  because it feels easier. A little self-education can make a big difference.

Bittylicious has a good rating on Trustwallet https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.bittylicious.com
I assume you are from UK because this exchange is dedicated to UK residents. Because there is a need for a UK bank for the transactions, I advise that you contact support on how to proceed and get your funds to your bank account; you can directly contract them on their Discord channel; you can find the link at bottom of their website.

Im in the uk. Just want to take 1k out easiest and cheapest way possible as I don't have a clue what I'm doing. I bought £10 worth of bitcoins when it very 1st started didn't know what I was doing so took it all out except for 2p I think that was left for some reason. I found my multibit hd wallet which is now obsolete on my old laptop and an email account I had set up for bittylicious. I logged in and found 0.032 btc I had transferred from my multibit hd wallet. Apparently that's worth about 2.5k so I want to take out 1k towards xmas and bills and rent. I appreciate all the replies but much of it sounds like a foreign language to me unfortunately 😕

Well I guess you where lucky to be able to access the wallet again alot of folks has loss their assets through such means.

Now back to the topic, you can cashin using exchanges and most of those exchanges has been listed above by some users here exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, bybit, bitget , okx (depending on your region tho ) and many more.

If you don't know how to go about it , YouTube can literally help showing you how to navigate the exchanges,  because this is like a basic knowledge in this space so it won't be hard to pull off.

I've just noticed I can sell my coins via bittylicious and I assume the funds go straight to my bank? Anyone advise against taking this route at all?

I'm not familiar with bittylicious or how they operates, I usually make use of exchanges to save myself the stress.

If i may ask, how did you acquire it that you didn't know how you can exchange it, did you mined it, got it free or you bought it with fiat as at then.

We have exchanges like Binance or Bybit when you can exchange your bitcoin for fiat using p2p, also, there are escrow service providers here on the forum, whereby they serves as a third party to ensure that you have a smooth transaction between you and the other party involved in making a transaction.

Apart from exchanges there p2p platforms like Paxful, which obviously has KYC requirements but it is one of the easier way to cash in fiat for any countries and also at good price a little higher than the market price depending on the demand for particular fiat.

But you need to be careful with picking up trading partners on P2P exchanges and the simple trick is always choose the verified traders who has tick market near their profile name and also ha huge trading volume and number of completed trades.

As mentioned above, there are many exchanges (and other ways) to cash out....

Aside from your location, it also depends on whether you're willing to go through KYC verification or not. If you don't want to do that, then there are other platforms you can use (BISQ, Localcoinswap, etc.). BTMs (ATMs for bitcoin) are also a solution but usually charge a high fee.

What country ar you from? If you do not want to let us know that brussel of privacy, there are many exchanges that you can exchange to fiat.

If you are from United States, you can use Coinbase, Kraken or Binance.us. If you are not in United States, you can use Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget and many ither exchanges.

You can exchange it in the currency exchange board on this forum if you see anyone that will accept your offer but you will have to let us know your country.
