My current mindset:

I don't want to advertise for Google Programs or Amazon. I am fundamentally against that. I aim to educate people about bitcoins, privacy, and security. That's our target audience.

Since you do not want Adsense or Amazon on your website why not create an advertising offer page so your visitors and potential advertisers can read what you want to be advertised on your website, I don't see any, and your pages are all messed up those pages that have nothing to do with visitors interaction should be in a sub-page, only show pages that will give value to your visitors.

My current mindset:

I don't want to advertise for Google Programs or Amazon. I am fundamentally against that. I aim to educate people about bitcoins, privacy, and security. That's our target audience.

We don't want to be part of global corporations. Our goal is to be as decentralized as possible. That is the essence of our website, and these are the kind of people we attract.

Did I use AdSense? Yes, but much too late and reluctantly so. I have a distaste for these large corporations. If I had started back in 2020/2021, given the average of 50k page views per day we had, and even exceeding 100,000 on some days, I would probably have made tens of thousands of euros with AdSense. Especially considering this is a Dutch platform.

We experienced days with around, and sometimes over, 100,000 visitors. However, at that time, I wasn't focused on making money. I was genuinely worried about the world, and I created the website without any prior knowledge. I only started with AdSense last year, and it brought in around €250 per month. But because I simply can't stand them, I removed the ads. The goal wasn't money.

Now that we've come back down to earth, I've learned a lot and now, I do want to monetize my website. I didn't realize what I had in my hands. I had no experience. I wasn't a blogger. I wanted "to save the world".

Not literally, but I wanted our voices to be heard and to write about what the media was censoring. Can you understand why I have such an aversion to these figures and big tech?

Last years were strange. But if I keep on eleborating about it, i can write a book.

I've mentioned before elsewhere.

I started the blog without the intention to monetize it. I was more like an activist. The website was funded by the donations people gave and two small advertisers. No GoogleAds.

Now, those days were during the COVID period. Everybody was at home. So traffic was high. And during those times, I was really very serious about speaking out about things I see that the media does not cover.

The website has been in existence since October 2019. Now we have decent traffic and loyal followers. I tried AdSense for 3 months, which brought in 250 per month, but I have absolutely nothing to do with Google or multinationals. I want to introduce our followers to the crypto world. And they want that too. They are just beginners. Beginners who are concerned about their privacy and state control over their money.

NOTE: When I started with the website I had no clue at all on how to build a website. Let alone how to monetize. Before that I just had my normal job and sold VCC´s and Stealth accounts here.

I hope this clarifies?

Hello everyone,

I set up a website in 2019 mainly aimed at Dutch speakers.
The website is an independent news and opinion website with loyal followers.

This originated just before the corona crisis. It's not an affiliate website. There is exactly one advertisement from a regular reader of ours. I never wanted to monetize this website and not participate in GoogleAds and Affiliate programs from the "ordinary world". Principally not. I tried AdSense but removed it again.

Our readers are mainly adults from 30 years old and all ages above.
We have a newsletter with hundreds of subscribed readers. We have a clean chat/comment section. It is moderated to keep trolls away. It's a serious website with multiple writers. 5 regular writers and in total we have around 10 writers. Mainly columnists and news bringers who bring substantiated news (and often add their opinion).

Now I'm looking for sponsors.. Not only out of necessity but also because I myself love cryptos. I'm not an expert in it but the BTC has brought me a lot of good in the past. People on our website are also mainly interested in privacy, buy VPNs, and are afraid of the disappearance of cash and a centralized digital coin.

Of course, there are also people in our base who gamble but are driven crazy by the control.

I think an audience with beginning crypto enthusiasts can be valuable for our readers, for me, and for the sponsor/blog writer/advertiser etcetera.

For more information, PM me or ask here.
I would like to hear from "the good people" whether it is wise to post the link of my website directly here or only to potentially interested parties.

Also, if someone has tips. Much appreciated!

Based on your story, you seem to realize that you need to promote the website you created, right? Then I have another question, why didn't you join Google ads, affiliate marketing and didn't you pursue to monetize that?

Isn't it with these tools that you can have sponsors especially when you see your community growing on the website you made? It also means how many years were wasted in this incident on your website? Well, it's not too late for that.

A lot of disadvantages follows Google AdSense, especially for small publishers like OP. Google doesn't provide enough sponsor for small websites and also the rules are much and the publisher can lose all their money in a second for boycotting any rule or policies. When working with ad network they're more like the admin of the site, as they can influence the kind of activities they want on your website, suspicious clicks can lead to the termination of the account, and they is nobody to run to. The whole hard work ends in losses. Quite good it's a nice way yo monetize a website, but not all webmasters wants to be under a foreign control, they prefer to streamline the activities of their website gradually and grow. OP seeking for support is excellent for a growing site.

You only present the potentially negative aspects of Adsense here. Looking at it this way, it's a wonder that anyone uses AdSense as a monetization method. The reality is a little different, and in any ad network, if you use illegitimate methods for clicks, there is definitely a risk of being banned. The fact that the ad network is the admin of your site is total nonsense because it is possible to set in detail what you want to be displayed in your ad spaces.
In the end, I said that Adsense is not the only option, there are many others, almost the same, some even with a better payment rate

Of course they're multiple advantages of Adsense, but that doesn't make my response nonsense, because a site admin may not change niche or content type that is against Google's policy without getting banned. For instance, google adsense may not accept a cryptocurrency blog and Op wants to switch his contents toward crypto, if he is working with adsense would he do that without getting banned and lose already generated funds? They may not be the general admin, but the adnetwork has influence over your site, and you must abide by their rules, you are no longer the sole proprietor of what happens in the site. In addition, monetizing adsense has to do with the tier of traffic that visits your site and their CPA. If OP's visitors are from tier3 what gain is it to choose google adsense or an adnetwork as sponsors. It will take ages for the site to yield him much profits. Webmasters with Tier1 traffics are advised to use google adsense as they have higher CPA on Ads published on the page. However, the site OP is running is not yet big like I said, and it's a factor to consider, before jumping into adnetworks regardless of the company whether Adsense or PropellerAds

I would, if it was not so urgent.
That part is so private I just can´t post it here.

You would understand me.

But your observation is right. I will consider it.

Thanks for the advice.
But I answered alll this questions like 5 times spread around this forum.
Also my motives for a loan.

So, I am looking for a lender who might be interested or even better, I want to sell website space.

I've checked your post history and it centered on your loan you are still at it although there are who already commented to drop your loan, it's better to lock your loan request and
move on, and just use other options to get money to fund your project.

This forum can only accept collateral that lenders can dispose of to recover the loan amount and what you offer is something that will not satisfy some lenders just accept this fact, you just have to do better with what you have.

Or better build your reputation here and do bounty campaigns using your platform who knows you can stumble over a good project that will reward you.

Thank you, Robelneo,

The stats I have from Jetpack. For sure there are tools online as well to check the traffic.

I used Analytics for a while, but decided to switch back to Jetpack for more detailed insights. This site once had over 100,000 page views during the Corona period.

All-Time stats (from 1st of October 2019)
https://ibb.co/DbLbt9z

You should create a page for your stat or use a dedicated widget to show it on the sidebar, one thing I also notice is why there is a page for editing your profile I know that this is a membership site but when it comes to editing a profile it is already available when a user login.

Since you are looking for sponsors why not create a dedicated page for this and on that page explain the benefits of having their ads on your blog you can also post your traffic stat to entice or convince your potential sponsors that its worth sponsoring your blog and advertise on your blog.
Op has a very good stat that is worthy to be displayed. Considering your advice to have a dedicated widget to display the stat of his site is cool but I also know that most times the stats are being exaggerated, more than they really are.

Thank you for this.
A potential advertiser will have acces to all the stats, ofcourse.

That is definitely a good idea, and my mind has been filled with similar ideas recently. I actually have two other domains as well.
The main issue here is that it takes up too much of my time, even though it's relatively easy. Setting it up at this absurd point in my life requires a significant amount of time, as I first need to secure a quick and legitimate high-quality deal in BCT. I posted my situation on the forum in various topics, albeit perhaps a bit lengthy, but understandably, people have many questions.

Suddenly you started writing over the forum, mostly asking for money. No matter whether is it a loan or selling ad space. Desperate moves and rashness are definitely not a good solution and you need to slow down a bit. You have already received enough suggestions, present your pages, give some details about traffic, number of visits, the average stay on the site and similar and present your offer. Who is ready to enter into a deal with you if it is obvious that there is a great possibility of selling the site in the case of an offer that meets your needs at the moment?

I saw that you have solid traffic, but it is mainly from the Netherlands, so you are limited to services that may be interesting to your visitors.
Also, you need to study a little more on this forum, you will see that there are different ways to monetize your blog. Here is an example, as far as I can see this is still active [BOUNTY] GOLD Stablecoin – $200,000 - payouts in BTC, ETH, GOLD

Thank you, Zoomic,

I am doing that now. I have another domain. I know I can figure out how to do it, but it will take some time.
I am on it, I just am in a scary personal situation. That's why I am so eager for a loan and a quick deal with an advertiser so I can build my project(s) without stress. This has never happened to me before. Ridiculous situations can arise.

You have a good choice of picking a good magazine theme for your WordPress site, if you're looking for advertisers and sponsors,  you have to show your site data and ranking, there are plugins that you can install and activate to show your site ranking and data.

I recommend that you put the translator where the visitors can easily see it not at the bottom of the page, the archives and the tag widgets are best placed below you should put recent articles above the archive and tags, that's how I configure my blog.

I recommend that if you are going to accept sponsors it should be related to your content, I don't know why you are looking for casinos to sponsor your site when your blog has nothing to do with gambling.

Honestly, your blog is ok you can easily get a local sponsor, have you reached out to local projects to advertise on your blog?

Your domain extension is country targeted which is .nl
Quote
.nl is the Internet country code top-level domain for the Netherlands.
so it is very suited for projects that are located in the Netherlands.

I'm sure you can get one it's just how you present your blog.

Since my native language is Dutch, that won't be a problem at all. When I do something for someone, I do it well.

In response to the question of which Bitcoin-related articles would best suit the website, we can coordinate together. I know my audience, I think about what fits best with us and I hope after my explanation you will have an idea too? A simple example is a 1000-word explanation for people who want to enter the crypto world. A sincere article with the right links.

For example, a guide on how to get started with Bitcoins. Or a video. We can advertise with a separate section on the website where we provide more explanation.

We must meet the demands of the people.
I have nothing against just a simple advertisement or a general article, it will certainly get views with good SEO. But a really good approach is to really involve people in the service and teach them how to purchase cryptos, how to do this as anonymously as possible.

A casino is another story, but as long as it's a fair casino, there's plenty to think about how to get people there. Perhaps we can give away bonuses in the right way on the website without the entire website being full of gambling advertisements.

I'm just giving some examples. These are real people to whom you are offering your product. People from "the offline world", can I describe it like that? Not sure if some typical Dutch expressions also make sense in English Smiley

As long as everything remains legal, I am obv. not going to post for scamsites, I believe there are numerous possibilities. Don't overlook the newsletter and the social media platforms that are linked to the website as well.

When we devise a plan, I'm confident we can agree on a price that is suitable for both of us. If the business is truly serious and I find it appealing, we could start with a small project, such as writing some blog posts as an initial task, and brainstorm other ideas together in the meantime.

We can get in contact any way you like. I just still have a PM limit of just 1 or a few today here.

This is the website btw:

Unless it's referral links, that's okay.

You talked a lot and did not tell us about the details of the news site. Are the articles only in Dutch or are they approved in English? If it is only Dutch, it is better to publish it in the local council.

How to make payments, is it in bitcoins, if so, move the topic to the services section.

Are there specialized articles on bitcoin or is it a news site and you are looking for advertisers and who publish the articles, what are the appropriate years of experience and what are the necessary translation capabilities and how much do you plan to pay.

Also, if someone has tips. Much appreciated!
Fewer ads and unbiased, in-depth articles are better.

I'd be quite happy to write for you, if you'd accept submissions written in English which you could then translate into Dutch (as I gather that Google Translate isn't always 100% accurate).

What sort of articles/blogs would you require and what would you pay in terms of Bitcoin?

Your site sounds interesting, and I too am against the disappearance of cash if it means ever more draconian rule by 'Big Daddy Government'.

My DM should be open, if you'd like to send me a message.
