Sell your items locally, this is what I do and its more safer, I meet buyers most times to carry out the business and while kidnapping cases are growing in my country I always use a secure location, like in front of a police station 😆, crazy as it sounds I have no choice.

The forum is just another place for you to sell those hardware stuff. There were a lot of people who have successfully sold and traded those stuff in the forum.

But in your case, aside from the suggestion about posting on the right section. You can search for other forums and dedicated hardware groups to sell those easily.

I'd rather use craiglist to sell those components or even sell using eBay, I can't deal with using anyone as escrow on this forum because I have trust issues with people like me, the only thing the will risk is their account which can only get red trust, thats it, be careful.
You need to be careful whichever platform you use, and you also need to have an element of trust. If you opt for Craiglist or eBay over the forum, then you "trust" them more. You can easily be scammed on either platforms if you do not take enough safety precautions.

This is more of preference than which is better security wise.
About risking accounts, some accounts on the forum are relatively worth certain amounts (it's not ideal to view them as such); this amount cannot be fixed, but you can estimate it to be higher or lower than that which you risk in a trade. Of course scammers can get control of certain accounts and would not mind the apparent worth of it

Is there anyway to sell my PC components on this forum? Graphics cards, Motherboards and some parts? I know we have a market place but this things don't work out well without some kind of escrow, anyone sold something successful on this forum?
Your query has been already resolved by the members above by specifying you particular board for selling your PC stuff but more customers will first look at your trust ratings if you are interested in selling stuff so you can check out this thread once:

LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system

But as suggested above there are lot of scammers also who will be trying to contact you via pm also so be sure to get an trusted escrow for your stuff.Rest take each step with precautions.

Well, Yes, people have been selling different kinds of stuff on this forum for years, though I personally have never sold and have never attempted to, but then, alot of people have done this successfully without problems, all you have to do is hire a good escrow on the forum, there are alot and lots of them, trusted ones, you can go to the service section of this forum to locate their business threads, and a little advice is, don't just pick anybody that calls him or herself,  "escrow", just because their percentage is cheap, go with only trusted ones, check their trust scores to better guide yourself to making the right decision.

An escrow service acts as a form of protection to you or the other party against potential scam. Without it, you risk losing all you are trying to sell and also not get any payment from the buyer.

You would rather pay a small escrow fee than lose it all in case the other party does not meet their end of the deal. It's standard procedure for any for of online shopping/ transaction, especially here where the parties involved may even be anonymous.

But in the past people have sold of items successfully.

I agree with the previous post
Verify the buyer, don't send components first and don't give any of your personal information
Good luck Smiley

People are selling stuff for years in forum section Goods and Services, but you should always watch out reputation and history of other members you trade and exchange goods with.
I know many cases of good trades, but I also saw people getting scammed very easy with Paypal and similar services  that can be revoked, or with Bitcoin fake transactions that never confirms.
You can always use some trusted escrow, but only with good reputation, because I know scammers are using their own  fake escrow accounts.

Yes, you can use the Computer hardware board for that[1]. For the escrow, you can check this list[2] but make sure to check the user's trust rating and announcement thread before reaching out to them since the list I gave hasn't been updated since 2021.
