Alright. I for one paid 70$ via BTC on the day of my payment. I consider that transaction done for me.

Please send the exchange rate profit from my purchase to killyou72, thankyou.

Very good.
Payment/funds will be sent in the morning. (Sat.)

So if BTC would've dropped to 500$, you'd sent him 1.002 BTC? And would take the conversion loss like you're now taking the gain?

No... why would I have to pay more out of my own pocket?  that would be insane  .... This is the whole reason of pricing things in bitcoin if you are buying/paying in bitcoin.

And I am not taking any gain... like I said, I would rather refund any capital gains back to the original senders.

I believe the items where sold when they were paid for at the time. No one that sent btc to my address as asked me for a refund because that would be ridiculous.. You don't buy an item from Amazon and pay for it when it reaches your house. You pay before it ships.

That's your business.... and Amazon deals in dollars not bitcoin.... This is a Bitcoin forum... we deal in bitcoins not dollars.
And I have no idea what Amazon's policies are.... not my business.

I have to agree with killyou72 here, and like to ask minerjones to please forward my whole BTC payment (minues escrow fees) to him.

minerjones is not a currency exchange as he says for himself. Nonetheless, the way he acts here is one: he uses the BTC/USD rate to calculate how much to send to killyou72. Isn't this exactly what a currency exchange does?

Aksing exactly for "the BTC equivalent of $70" is pedantry, all of us paid him "70$ in BTC". I don't expect to get a refund based on the current exchange rate, and neither do I expect minerjones to keep that refund for him.

I have to do it this way since I was sent bitcoin and not dollars.
Since the coins were priced in dollars, I could exchange the bitcoin for dollars and send that instead?

Regardless, the OP/seller will be paid the escrow payment tomorrow (Saturday).......  I will post the txid once sent.

Thanks.

I agree with Minerjones. The escrow funds are released when the goods have been received and confirmed as advertised. When setting a price in USD this is exactly what happens. You should have asked for the BTC equivalent of $70 at the time you sold the coins.

Received my coins today. While not as shiny as say Casascius or Lealana coins I find their quirky and rough look to be a nice contrast in my collection. They look like I imagine medieval silver coins, rough and with imperfections. I like them Smiley

Awesome glad to hear, next ones will definitely be much shinner :p

I received my sets of "T3" silver coins!

Coins do have personality and look good IMO.
A nice add to the crypto collection, no doubt.
(No pics though...crap camera.)

I may pick up another set too. Thanks KY72.  Wink

Well there is only set #13 left and I might just keep it.

I am glad you like them!!
