@legendster - Yes, exactly! I'd screenshot my message box... but that really doesn't prove anything. Not sure if forum moderators can confirm, but they'll be able to see that a message was never even sent to me.

Please do post a LARGE screenshot of your inbox.

Doesn't really prove anything though, if I was a scammer... I'd just delete the message. Still though, only a mod can verify at this point.

It proves one thing you deleted your messages whether for housekeeping or to cover up your scamming only time will tell.

moderators can't look at other users' private messages. only administrator can. send a message to theymos/badbear.

Actually this is a pretty bad idea. This would be a huge waste of badbear's time. If he did it this time, then he'd have to constantly check user's inbox any time there is an accusation by someone else. Same reason why he doesn't verify if an alt account belongs to specific people any time there is a request.

How about MasterBugPatch post some proof rather than OP trying to prove he didn't get a message since MasterBugPatch posted a skype it may have occurred there where no intervention by theymos can help

Exactly, now everyone will know if you are a scammer or not, i.e when the mod responds.

SCAMMED
I was just scammed 4$. Don't trust, DO NOT!

@MasterBugPatch - Please post proof.. I doubt you can since you never even messaged me. Why waste your time posting this.. I don't get it?

To everyone else, why would I bother attempting to scam the cost of a few cheeseburgers. I'd be more profitable pan handling on a freeway exit than trying to steal your BTC/Paypal funds.

I'm the one taking the risk here offloading BTC for paypal. For god's sakes, you can initiate a chargeback 44 days later, but I'm still willing to trust members with a good rep on this forum.

So you're telling us that he never messaged you ? let alone get scammed by you ?

I can see this not ending well for all parties involved. Lets say for example that you are in fact acting honestly. You are going to get scammed by people selling their paypal for your bitcoin. This will cause your paypal to go negative and will likely result in the people you have purchased bitcoin from with your paypal to have the funds reversed

+1. I'm too aware of the risks due to 1 (or more) side(s) being a not established enough (a.k.a. newbie); albeit, using a trusted escrow from the ones available on the forum should reduce the trade risks enough. Any deal (especially from newbies) involving PayPal or any other reversible transfer service is a loud alarm bell of SCAM risk! Even if such a newbie trader is not actually scamming, IMHO its carelessness & laziness to not reading sticky advisories from Admin or established community members it's enough for me to avoid any trade with him.

I suppose you did a trade without an established trusted escrow as well as involving PayPal and other reversible transfer services, right?
If so, now You can only leave him a -ve (negative) trust feedback on his profile trust page and learn to follow more established members advice as well as forum trading guidelines.

Paypal is not a trusted/appropriated way to deal BTC; also, Always make use of escrows in your transactions.

Is there a guide/sticky you can refer me to in order to leverage an escrow?
