i am just new here because i got a big problem: i sent btc to a wrong wallet address.
actually the receiver gave me the wrong address and it was not my fault. but anyway i want to ask if there is a chance to get the btc back? or is there at least a chance to find out who the owner of the wallet is so that i can contact the owner and explain the mistake?
i very much hope there is a chance because i dont want to lose them for nothing. i hope someone can help me.

I doubt the receiver have kept an address on record mixed with his own address so that he can "give you the wrong address" he has to know who,s it is. Its not easy at all to input the wrong address, if you change numbers around, it wont work.
