Nobody can say that for sure but I also think that this month we will see some change in btc value...

Really, Sherlock?
When in the story Bitcoin price stagnated for a whole month?

Say price will change is the same to say that will rain in the summer.

But people promissed recover in september, but inch by inch we lose the price battle Sad

(ex: yesterday we got some up 480 jumps, today all day without reach 480)

surely as we have had volatility to the downside, we will have volatility to the upside.  this is Bitcoin's destiny.

it's just a matter of time.  the fundamentals haven't changed and the protocol remains rock solid.  nothing fallling ever says includes any discussion about the technical aspects of Bitcoin, which remain rock solid.  ask him to explain SHA256 and you won't get an answer.  ask him to explain ECDSA and you won't get an answer.  why?  b/c he doesn't understand them nor does he need to when his only objective is to troll the price downwards.

it won't work in the long run as Bitcoin is the best form of money invented to date.  just be patient.

I bought in when Bitcoin was under $100 and I keep my eye on developments daily. I do think it's an incredible technology but I also think it's got a lot of problems which stop the majority from getting involved.
The price is stagnant, it's certainly not going up. I don't consider it cheap at the moment.

If it can be speeded up and made easier to use (like PayPal) then perhaps it will go up.

Sometimes you can wait between half an hour to an hour for a confirmation. That's way too long for most people.

the pump I thought might be this month....

not gonna happen, bitcoin is going to nowhere but down, face reality please

All of this FUD only confirms Warren Buffet even more: "When in fear, be greedy."

Warren Buffet also said bitcoin was a mirage with no intrinsic value
Cheesy "Stay away from bitcoin. It's a mirage." - Warren Buffett

It's an asset which doesn't do anything. Buffet once said that if you buy an ounce of gold now in 100 years it will still be an ounce of gold. The same is true for a Bitcoin.

Isn't this wonderful? If you buy a US Dollar, a hundred years from now on it may not even be a currency anymore, but even more probably there will be a lot more of its kind, making your US Dollar worth less. Incredible!

Yes, but not an investment into something which grows, such as a profitable business. Profitable businesses have "intrinsic" value as they continuously create more value. This is why Buffet doesn't like Bitcoin (or gold).

Difficult. Yeah, we could see an increase. The stock market does get more lively as soon as fall commences, but it's not something that will occur or has to happen. We may be at a turning point now (people love to say this), but I think it'll be interesting looking back at today in 3 months or so!

I think we will see just some bitcoin-fiat value increase by the 2nd half of September. But I wouldn't expect any "pump" prior to nearly the end of the year.

Too early to tell! We'll only know when September is over, I guess. If people really were certain that there was indeed a pump incoming, they could've bought BTC already. I for one am waiting for final capitulation!

Too much uncertainty at the moment and I suspect we'll need to find the floor before their is any real upward moments of any real significance.  I hope for some good news to catch the market by surprise but won't be holding my breath..  This is why people suggest holding coins and only investing what you can afford to lose.  You don't want to be second guessing yourself because your trying to understand the market swings on a day to day basis.

This is a periodic thread, the next month we will see "October pump" and so on..

Indeed. Back in May, when price went up 200 dollars in a couple of weeks, all the bulltards and cultists were loudly claiming the next rally had started. According to most of them, we'd be way above 1000 by the end of July.

pump? you think BTC is one of bad alts you can just pump?

like it was pumped by mtgox faked dollars. but the real dollars are also here.
