In my opinion, the problem is not in the number of campaigns, but in the fact that there are almost no quality members to fill them, so the criteria have been lowered considerably.
I was just about to write the similar thing, as I noticed lately people that are probably not good enough for altcoin campaigns are easily getting into BTC campaigns. Quite the difference compared to beginning of the year when I saw quality members having issues getting into campaign and competition was much tougher for each spot.

Somehow I thought that increased amount of signature campaigns will push up the prices accordingly but I don't see that happening. At least not yet. Sooner or later that will have to happen if number of campaigns keeps increasing because those that are paying for campaign won't get the results they expected if their campaign is filled with 2nd rate posters that write nonsense. And the only way to attract quality is to increase the payment.

I keep hearing from veteran members that campaigns used to pay much more. What was the reason for that? Was it simply due different market situation, high demand for posters pushed the price or something else?

So, what do you guys think about this?

In my opinion, the problem is not in the number of campaigns, but in the fact that there are almost no quality members to fill them, so the criteria have been lowered considerably. Accordingly, pay rates are very low and I wonder how to motivate someone (especially Legendary/Hero members) to post quality for $30 or $50 a week?

Here is just one example I saw today, so ask yourself what this member is doing in one of the better paid campaigns? Writing a post like this after 2 pages of discussion is just proof of what I wrote above.

More new projects, more new companies join the forum, more campaigns. Last few months, there are a few new companies join the forum and some of them decided to begin with campaigns like Chips.gg.

In the list of campaigns you can see some new companies join the forum recently.

Another reason is the bull market can help companies to have more funds for promotions and they more easily decide to run campaigns.

I wonder why though? If the campaign pays out in fiat value which I see most do, it doesn't affect the rate at all (0.001 or 0.01 is the same).

A lower price equals less interest which equals less custom. The payment level isn't relevant. The amount of business they get from it certainly does. Everything fell of a cliff when 2017 popped and it's only picking up in recent times.

With lower price of bitcoin, there should be lower number of campaigns I think.

It's true the interest over bitcoin and sig campaign too has hugely help up just after the attack of Coronavirus, this is the thing that lead the prime role we're returning into the game. If you looks carefully out of those sig campaign a large portion of the gambling related. Since Coronavirus outbreak put sports in the long break so it's very normal it returns with more power.

Really signature campaign is taking another dimensions in the forum because I could remembered when I joined bitcointalk forum and how many signature campaigns that was listed in overviews thread its was not up to the numbers of signatur campaign existing currently in bitcointalk community today,  I come to know that we have numerous signature campaign platform, shall I suggest that the reason we are having so many signatures campaign is because we have multiplication of people who adventure into bitcoin, and secondly Btc is generating traffic across the world so cryptocurrency market industries is actually into competition. So these point is my personal views towards cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin since 2020.

It's little to do with the time of year. It's about the boom/bust cycle and returning from its doldrums which is what we've been doing for the last year or two. You weren't going to get an uptick in sept/oct 2018.

There may well be hay to make for the next 12-18 months. Then it all goes tits up and back to sleep again.

There are several reasons for this, and despite what some people say, advertising in bitcointalk forum is still very effective way to spread the word about your business or new campaign you have.
If it wasnt profitable for them they wouldn't do it for years like some of them.
Bitcoin price is also looking bullish and with new stimulus deals it can only continue to be bullish for some time.
Don't underestimate the power of Bitcointalk forum and Bitcoin Wink

Have you checked signature campaign from last year September/October? That would make sense I think. In regards to that, I think bitcoin price has also relation with more campaigns here. With lower price of bitcoin, there should be lower number of campaigns I think.

So, what do you guys think about this? Has the end of the year historically seen more signature campaigns than spring and summer? Any thoughts to why this time of the year is when services decide to launch signature campaigns?

I think its because the market now is improving especially on bitcoin price. People interestes to create business as the bull season might approach and many people are gonna be interested more to use bitcoin for such service like trading, gambling and any other types of adoption.

Ive noticed also the increase on signature campaign on service section and even on altcoin campaigns. This is a good thing for some active user as they can joined new campaigns.

Does anyone remember how in last March there were few signature campaigns going on? I counted about 9 on the signature campaign overview thread: Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 09-Mar-2020]

Today there are more than 3x as many campaigns as there were in March: Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 13-Oct-20] (It was actually updated today). Most of the new campaigns started in September and October. In fact there are so many campaigns, a few of them still have open slots.
