I'm just trying to imagine one of these plugged into every computer in the world :

I'm sure Bart Chilton wouldn't like that.

On the other hand, he might just plug one in himself.

Just in case.

sorry for the question but what is that

I suggest mass production, make about 100 million bring the price down to a few bucks each, ill buy a thousand,

I doubt they will bring down the price, in fact I doubt ASICMiner is thinking in a way similar to Avalon:if you want our mining rig please purchase with bitcoins, you have to be part of the economy so that we can remove our suspicions about some big governments/organizations are purchasing large quantities to undermine the network.

This is exactly what BFL should have been doing from Day 1-- making an entry-level bitcoin mining product.

The advantage of the Erupter, as this cute little device is called, is that it will run off your native OS.

300 MHS are they going to make asics obsolete? how much do they cost? you should list them on ebay

That's just the beginning.

In a few years one ore more of this chips will be on-board on every new Mainboard.

Preset pools will be configured in them so you get your PC for free just because of the revenue it generates for the manufacturer by running.

That wouldn't have something to do with the fact that most computers come out of China now does it?
