You're allowed to post in Meta during your ban.

Could you pm me some links about bans, so I can better understand them?

Thanks

The latest post of bloodDiamond, you were commenting to your own post.

Nice catch.  Smiley
And the OP still doesn't know the reason for his ban?

OP thinks, It is okay to commenting his own post. Maybe he really likes talking to himself in the real world.

Thank you for the help valvalis

Poor quality posts are against the rules and are very likely to get you banned especially when you do it from multiple accounts. You probably weren't banned by theymos as he rarely deals with spam bans or responds to them here so you'll have to wait for BadBear to comment but you've likely already got your answers from the other responses already stated.

Almost every day people got banned, maybe the moderators should open a thread to explain the rule in detail.

BadBear must be delighted that PD campaign didn't start.

I'm sure it will burn the forum if PD joined the competition.

The rules are clear :

- https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5106206

- NO SPAM
- NO BEGGING (AKA ASKING FOR BITCOINS)
- NO REFERRAL LINKS

I think the rules are easy , isn't it ?

asking again...

I provided some of my users just because I have not violated any rules.
but I see that nobody tells me exactly which of my post, I provided for each user, who has violated the rules.

how to contact theymos???
i think he can explain better and in deep detail his decision...

Have seen lots of talk about sig campaigns lately. Many of the more sincere members complaining about low quality useless posts. Was following this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-no-ad-sigs-posters-allowed-topic-come-and-not-be-annoyed-by-rubbish-posts-957789, but no comments in the last few days (at least partially due to the "no ad-sig posters" rule Smiley )

The ultra low quality posts, especially before reading at least the OP and last few pages of the thread, really are becoming a distraction. I do think those wiser than myself will eventually come up with a solution, and it's nice to see some diligence in patrolling the forum in the meantime.  Seems a reasonable endeavour to make a lot of contributions to this forum, and become a respectable member like some of you who have posted to this thread, but sometimes the overload of crap posts can really ruin a good thread.

Not really. Bit-x and Dadice are already paying plenty and last I checked weren't full, so there's more supply than demand and people who try to abuse the system usually end up with a ban.
PD used to compete with other pay per post campaigns in the past and the forum wasn't overwhelmed.

I prefer Zakir over Muhammed when mentioning me!
Yes, it's clear and easy, no spam, everyone know that.

But nobody follows. Sad

But the rules is kind of vague for me since the Madness got banned, because his posts is constructive for me even some of his posts are meaningless, but you can't make sure every single post is constructive, sometimes you would probably make meaningless post, maybe one maybe two. It's hard to differentiate which is qualified which is not for me.

You might have seen recent discussion in Madness' thread. If you make many posts in a short period of time triggers the alarm faster. Like redsn0w said "post in normal way". When people(incl. me) join signature campaigns, they try their best to earn more which increases spam. What you have to do is, don't post in threads whixh you can't reply, isn't interesting etc...

So, I would be more than happy to see moderator to make a clearer statement of the rule. Meanwhile I will try to reduce my posts and higher quality of the posts.

A Moderator already made a good thread about rules, see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unofficial-list-of-official-bitcointalkorg-rules-guidelines-faq-703657.

The main problem is due to campaigns which pay based on post count as it is too tempting to post to increase income. If the forum sets up rules which doesn't allow this then spam will reduce significantly.

I think there should be a sub board for signature campaigns, and they will follow strict rules like they can only ask for a maximum of, say, 20 posts/month and they can't provide bonus or preferential treatment based on post count. The campaign managers would be made accountable if they fail to enforce the rules.

Your posts look pretty spammy on your unsoindovo account and the way you format them probably doesn't help. You're allowed to have multiple accounts but not to abuse them with poor quality posts for signature campaigns and if you do you risk having all of them banned. How many did you have banned and was this their first time?
Hi hilarious.
Thank you to let me understand better what happened.
Can you give some of my posts marked like spammy.

Thanxs

In my experience its not certain posts that are spammy. A few spammy low quality posts among plenty of good ones are fine. Pick a random post you made and read the thread. How would the thread be without your post? Did you contribute to the discussion or topic at hand? If too many of your posts lack quality in that sense its considered spam. This is typically the case if people try to reach their signature campaigns quota with several accounts. There is only so much you can write or post, if you have to force it you are doing it wrong.

Apparently it had to do with sending personal messages : "you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum."

No. It says that on all bans because that's exactly what a ban entails.

Everyone banned pretends to not know the reason of his ban, it is normal. I these days the ban increased  exponentially.

Hi guyz.

A few days ago, i logged in bitcointalk and i found several of my accounts banned...
i think the author of this action was theymos.
i receive a message like this:

Code:
Sorry bloodDiamond, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum.
You have been banned by a forum moderator. You may appeal here: [email protected] .

i try to write to [email protected] to request explanations... but nothing.
i try to contact theymos via PM... but nothing...
i try to contact theymos on reddit too... but nothing.

here the message to theymos
Code:
Hi theymos!

nice to meet you.

this evening, after logging to bitcointalk i found several users locked.

kindly,
can you tell me the problem that caused this decision?

i do not spam
i do not scam
i do not fud...
no +1 posts
no LOL posts..

so i do not understand :-|

i'm here just to ask you two things:
1) What caused the accounts ban
2) it is possible to restore the users in one week? one month? or when you want.

many thanks theymos to help me to understand!!!

some of my users:
unsoindovo
mamagoose
blooddiamond
redhairy

i repeat..
I have not broken any rules...
and if i have broken it, let me understand what...

thanks again

here some of my banned account:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/blooddiamond-388907
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/mamagoose-393519
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/vulgusman-393384
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/fastbeast-393756

you can check who i never do spam, fud, trolling or something like this.
I've never read anywhere that have multiple accounts is prohibited.

can you help me to better understand what has happened to avoid running into these problems again?
and then...

P.s.: the scope of this post are 2:
1) let me understand better what is happened
2) warn others users to avoid that from happening the same problem

many thanks!!!

Apparently it had to do with sending personal messages : "you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum." Don't you have an idea what it is in reference to ?
