The ancient Greeks did not conceive of sexual orientation as a social identifier as modern Western societies have done.

What has been the most interesting part of opening this thread was the backlash for even posting a link of a study. Barely stated anything and from that point it has been dump on time and yet I see post after post in the anti government or religious ilk and the poster rarely is attacked in such a manner.

I am not convinced all 50% are gay, and believe it's definitely around 10-15%. The only thing im not sure is if bisexual people should be included in that , probably so.

We have quite a few Countries where you are not allowed to come out within facing jail time. So ones sexuality is a major issue still.

Sadly who you sleep with is still quite a issue and was not long ago that sleeping outsides one race was a issue. Still is in some circles.

Not saying that population is 50% gay,was just referencing a left handed study I read years ago. My thinking is that we have more left handed people than what is reported and could see similarities in how we count the homosexual population. So the thinking would go as we look inward more or are given more choice the numbers would increase. Did I mention its a bitch being left handed as a carpenter!

I think Some women make the transition to loving another woman is because they seek things like Attention and emotional bonding that most Men forget about after being with them a while.
