Do you have at least 8GB of RAM? Otherwise you may have problems running with thread-concurrency as high as 32765.

This is simply not true...  I run 5 cards with high tc with only 4GB of ram.

By chance is your pc connected to a battery backup? Plug it into a normal surge protector.

I must admit that its a bit overwhelming, but I just put some loud music on to drown it out haha

I'll definitely be sending some doge your way once I have it running for a bit. I'm on my way to work now though, so it'll be 10 hours before I even start.

Thanks again!

Here ya go:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer --scrypt  -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.dogechain.info -u user.worker -p password -I 20 -g 1 -w 512 --thread-concurrency 32765 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune 30 --gpu-fan 85 --gpu-engine 927 --gpu-memclock 1250

I checked the mining pool and it didn't mention anything about being down and it still showed that they had processing power.

you have extra space before -o

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.dogechain.info -u user.worker -p password -I 20 -g 1 -w 512 --thread-concurrency 32765 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune 30 --gpu-fan 85 --gpu-engine 927 --gpu-memclock 1250

your ears can handle the 85% fan? Grin

MrMork, so that got my hash rate up. Thank you! However, it only mined for about 15 minutes before it disconnected from he pool and now cgminer hangs on startup. The GPU fans will turn up their speed but it just sits at "Starting cgminer". I tried a restart and it didn't work, I've also tried an older version of cgminer and the same thing happens. Any advice?

there is most likely a typo on the bat file like a extra "-" mark (shuts down the window)
copy paste it here and lets have a look

OR the pool server might be down (leaves the window open for a while on "starting cgminer" text

MrMork, is there an issue with pushing my clock that high? 50% higher than baseline seems a little dangerous.

Miz4r, I have 16 gigs.

i have 1 ( 21226-00-40G ) of them running and whenever i leave home i put it on 1022/1500/85% settings and havnt had it crash even once
for me it goes around 85celsius but really sounds like a jet engine so cant mine with that high fan settings when at home xD

the best place to look for a 290 / 290x settings for me atleast has been from here

Right now i am mining with 888/1250/55% settings 856kh/s 86c cos kids are sleeping just behind the wall my computers are at

I have no idea, I was wondering the same thing.
At the window, press 'G', enter '0' and enter '13'. Hashrate should increase, no?

latest drivers
ccc 13.12 http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx

sdk 2.9 http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/heterogeneous-computing/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/downloads/#one

cgminer 3.7.2 (found this by googling http://www.minedogecoin.com/cgminer-3.7.2-windows.zip )

then .bat file

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer --scrypt  -o xx -u user.worker -p xx -I 20 -g 1 -w 512 --thread-concurrency 32765 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune 30 --gpu-fan 65 --gpu-engine 927 --gpu-memclock 1250

that should give you ~890-895khs per card around 82c

if you dont mind noise and prefer speed

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer --scrypt  -o xx -u user.worker -p xx -I 20 -g 1 -w 512 --thread-concurrency 32765 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune 30 --gpu-fan 88 --gpu-engine 1022 --gpu-memclock 1500

that will give you ~980kh/s per jet engine Grin

Hope this helps
and if it does feel free to donate addresses below Tongue

As for the APP SDK, I manages to install it before leaving for work but didn't have time to see if it worked. I'll update in 10 hours time.

the photo you sent says you are connected to a doge pool.  with a cgminer diff of less then 2k.  It's impossible.

have you tried a different pool ?

I didn't know what that was before you mentioned it. I'm downloading it now, is there anything special I should know about it?

Yep, the APP SDK contains the special C++ libraries that support the openCL runtime which was included in your driver pack.  It's just a straight install.  Reboot after you install it.

That being said, if you didnt install the SDK nothing will work well!  The SDK does come with some driver packs (like the 12.6s/13.1s), but AFAIK the latest Beta / 13.12s dont*

*correct me if i'm wrong on this one.

If the new drivers don't help try a different version of CGminer.

HW = hardware errors, and a bunch of them almost always ensures a config issue.  You have none, at least from that SS, so i definitely believe it is your drivers.

Win7 from the looks? Which driver set did you install?  You did install the APP SDK right?

Here is a screenshot: http://imgur.com/RreniN9

All three cards are this type - http://products.ncix.com/detail/sapphire-r9-290x-edition-1000mhz-4gx1250mhz-512bit-pci-e-hdmi-dvi-d-dp-cf-video-card-w-bf4-f6-91870.htm

And my full .bat file is above

My GPU temp before running cgminer sits at 60 C, when I run, it jumps up to 70/75

I'm not sure what HW is.

This is a fresh install of windows, is it necessary to clean out the CPanel and if so how?

Also, thanks a lot for the help!
