I would certainly be interested if there were other Amazon languages, it could be a good Purse.io alternative although I don't get how the website receive the payments since users send cryptos (it's a matter of APIs?). Secondly, in term of security, how secure it is? The coinbase account is logged in our browser app and/or data are saved in a server?

Is a bad idea to use a browser extension to make this kind of payments, and worst if the extension asks us our auth to coinbase. Maybe OPhas good intentions, but another way he could easily hack our coinbase accounts like it already happens with another kind of extension. I would like to recommend to people who will install this to first take a look to the source code, and then try it.

Well,  nice one OP, I just hope it last for the time being and not just go into extinct like the others. But truly your concept is quite different. Well, I didn't install the extension cause I'm a bit skeptical and waiting for a better review though.
Just want to suggest: are you guys considering putting BitPay too? For those of us who might have had one problem or another with coinbase.

I feel a little bit worried to install add on in chrome browser because I have a bad experience in the past. I remember that in a few years ago, I installed one or two add on because I need those add on to my online work before. But suddenly, I didn't realize that there is another add on that came to my browser and installed directly in my chrome browser. I suspicious with that because I see that my browser was changed for the search engine default. Usually, I use Google to search for something but that time, the search engine was changed, and I search on how to fix that. The other story was I installed some add on, but I don't know why there is one add that was installed too, but I never feel that I installed the additional add on.

So I think you need to give more protection to the user especially we are making an online transaction on the internet, and I don't want to see that somebody will get stolen their money. I hope you can make sure that your add on is very secure so your customer will feel safe when they make a transaction. Good luck with your project.

Is this the official release of the beta version that was announced half a year ago? Yes? But the site still displays BETA.
Yes, but we've launched it as an "open beta" until more functionality is added. At the time of the original post it was a limited closed beta.

Currently it works by connecting your Coinbase account, but we are adding the functionality to pay from any wallet.
I would love to try it once you added Coins.ph as one of the payment options and of-course, P2P.
We will be adding the functionality to pay from any wallet. Funny enough, I ran into some of the coins.ph guys a few weeks ago in Singapore. Great people!

Suggestion: Since this isn't open-source, have one or more Respected/Trusted member vouch for the legitimacy of this project by honest means and expect the community to use this this more often than you can imagine (Paying Cryptos to Amazon is a very good offer).
Definitely. This is in the works. : )

Thanks for the feedback!

Hey everyone,

We've launched Moon, a Chrome browser extension that lets you shop directly on Amazon.com with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ether and Bitcoin Cash. Purchases are instant, secure and free.

Here's how it works:

1) Install the Moon browser extension
2) Follow the prompts to connect your Coinbase account
3) When on a checkout page, Moon will give you the option to pay directly from one of your Coinbase wallets, just select the wallet and click "Pay with Moon" to instantly complete your purchase

Currently it works by connecting your Coinbase account, but we are adding the functionality to pay from any wallet.

Currently it only works on Amazon.com, but we are going to have it work on every site.

You can check it out here: https://paywithmoon.com

I'm a big believer in the power of crypto as a usable currency and I hope that this browser extension helps get us to that point sooner rather than later.

What do you guys think? Looking for feedback on UI/UX and functionality enhancement recommendations.

Thanks!
