its too long, will check this in free time Tongue

I would give you a tl;dr, but that is like summarizing up a movie. There's no point, the fun is in the actual content.

Bitcoin Banks? What to serve?  Huh

I can imagine a Bitcoin bank being useful for lots of people. They'd charge you high fees, and protect your balance by looking for "unusual" transactions, limiting daily withdrawals, refunding you in the event of theft, and all those other services that banks already provide.

Most people don't want to be concerned with any kind of security. If a keylogger gets my banking details, the bank resets my password for me. If I lose my credit card, I can easily cancel it and get another one. Security is "someone else's problem" - a role the banks will take on, for a fee.

Dooglus just nailed what I was trying to convey.

I would be interested to read a sequel, maybe put somehing in about your brother actually hitting the jackpot on one of the faucets, it would never happen but hey this is fiction after all.
You could even do a prequel, anyway i'll leave the stories to you.
Just make sure you put a link to your next storie in this thread so i don't miss it.
Regards,
BTCitkilo

I definitely will. Just waiting to see if these kinds of stories will even get enough attention first of all....

I liked it, very well written. You have a good imagination.
Must have taken you a while to write so here's a little something for your troubles

Keep the stories coming!

I might make a re-write of this once I have more time, possibly next weekend. Since I've been getting good feedback, would any of you be interested in a sequel? The story can't just end here, I can definitely think of something that happens next.

It was VERY long, but for the most part an interesting story.  Only some small parts could be changed to improve it, but it would make for a nice book/movie.

It would bring a lot of attention to BTC too.

Thanks for the feedback Sickler!

Thank you for sharing, Candy.

I'll keep it brief, especially after your length post;

  • Your story could be the script for the next Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. However, instead of a golden ticket, there could be a Bitcoin jackpot.
  • Turn your dream(s) into reality.

PS: After writing such a well written post, you spelt "inspirational" incorrectly in your subject line (isn't it often the way) Wink

I'm glad you like it. The story very easily could become a full book, but I don't have enough funds to actually produce anything. Otherwise I'd be selling this in a flash. And haha yeah after a long day of writing I was so tired and didn't focus on the title, thanks for pointing that out Smiley. Comments about the story itself are appreciated.
