Then there's no safe heaven so far for such short term investment ,Too you were not specific to the area your are looking at going into investing in the short term, So if it's in the crypto space, Then you can look into flipping NFTS .You can buy Gold but gold may not give you the kind of returns in the imminent short term.
Anyways I don't really know why you desire to go into Short terms investment, but better option in my opinion is going into long term. since this is what you have asked for a suggestion, then you can buy Bitcoin even in the crash you can make money if you're a good technical Analyst by taking advantage of the dips when the market is over sold using the RSI Indicator, and selling when it's over bought.
