Ico's are very risky and almost all of ico's I've encountered are just scams. Better study it well before deciding to join, read their whitepaper and analyze it well. Hope you found a good one. Just choice or decide wisely without regrets.

If I were you I should continue joining some ICO because you have the knowledge of participating ICO I would say there are more ICO that are open and I am sure that they will become successful as the ICO you have before just keep joining as you can as long as they have a good project.

Base on the results from your research, if you see in it success then don't waste time any longer, you're good to go, invest part of your money and not all, good ICOs worth join it.

I checked Merculet some time back. It looks promising. Idea is interesting. Plus strong team with previous experience as you mentioned. CEO worked in many famous companies earlier.
