I always sell them on the fly. When I acquire some from airdrops or some form of payment, immediately to exchange I go and sell sell sell 
Never was sorry that I have lost some small bits because of price drop or price increase.
For me its just to much to worry about to hold them alts on exchanges or separate wallets.
But that's just me, you should do whatever your reason dictates you to do.
Sell before halving? I would do so. Re buy later on? I wouldn't

Yeah you should sell all your altcoin right now before you late.. the price of bitcoin is increasingly fast and i think more price increase will come..
But if the price of bitcoin is increasing withou effect for the price of altcoin.. just hold your altcoin and don't sell..

Should i sell my alt coins ? coz block halving is in just 29 days and i think if i sell all my coins now then i could be able to make some good profits after halving (fiat) am i wrong?
